I know gmg was doing some carbon body parts but iv been told that bare they dont look to good. If anyone has any leads on carbon rs4 body parts please let me know.
I'm working on RS4 fender flares and liners now. Also doing front bumper with a beam designed to fit big intercoolers and side skirts that incorporate the inner door sills. They will be available from one of the AudiZine vendors after they are finished and tested. Might also do a modified version of my Vorsteiner hood (same as yours) since mine is cracked around the vents.

Do you have a time scale on you finishing them? I was just about to drop money on used rs4 panels but i would much much rather have carbon ones.

the ones on ChuangS4;s car (the one you posted) were done by SDR Research, which has since be acquired by EPL. If you want those, I think you need to the reach out to Tony, though I don;t know if EPL ever completed the project and put them in production.

Thank you very much answer i was looking for. I did think i saw somewhere before his panels where from sdr. Now if only i could get ahold of the molds or get someone to make some molds up.

I have dozens of projects in the works and have sidelined these until I finish others to pay for the 285/30-18 tires and wheels needed to pull it off. 265/30-18 is an easier fit and also a possibility. If there is serious interest I can pull the 275/40-17 mockup tire out of the shed and do them next week. I generally don't invest in manufacturing, molds, etc. unless two or three are sold. That covers the r&d and whatnot. If you are seriously interested I could finish up this Boeing job this weekend and have these done in a week or two.
They would be along these lines (props to DTM). Flares can be molded with a radius so that they look like part of a solid fender and not just flares. I considered doing front fenders just like those in the first pic above but there isn't much of a chance the rears could be made to match. With my design they could be attached to resemble allroad flares or molded for a very finished look.
Molded and painted would be more like this (1sicka4):

GMG Racing can do the panels with the gloss carbon weave. That's how I had my front fenders done originally, then decided that black carbon bits on a yellow car would look absolutely hideous.
The Matte unidirectional weaves that you see are a cheaper option for people who aren't planning on using the panels for cosmetic reasons.
Hit them up and let them know what your request is. Honestly, they're pretty much made-to-order.
Pretty much all carbon is made to order. I've got rolls of 1k, 3k, 5hs, 8hs, straight 1x1, uni directional, etc.. I personally like the 1x1 or the 4x4 plain weave used on the Zondas but the 2x2 is what all the hoods are made of. Most hoods including my Vorsteiner aren't made anywhere near aerospace standards. If they were done with vacuum infusion and a foam core sandwich they could be lighter, stronger, and end up prettier. The problem is that with parts that big they end up a bit more expensive too. With something like the flares or side skirts they can be made with a couple of 20 oz layers with foam core, soric, or hexcell between and be pretty and be able to take shots from the doors of Yukon drivers in parking lots. Either way, I'm making a set for my car that I can beat the hell out of and not worry about any structural damage. Compared to fighter jet wing spars these are pretty damn easy.
I've seen some of GMG's parts and they do great work.

prices set yet?
since i was a child, everytime i saw a lamborghini, it represented a mans risillience to oppose an imperfection. and i swear god blessed ferrucio and his honor to stand the trial of time through ingenuity.
I have sinusitis and bronchitis. Sitting in the werkshop wanting to make molds but dizzy and loopy from benadryl and suphedrine. The car is ready, materials are ready, I'm kaput. As soon as the head and lungs lighten up I'll be mounting, mocking, and shaping. I'll post when they are available through an AZ vendor. Gotta do a bike too. Life got busy!

Been looking for stock CF fenders, anyone know where to find those or are they obsolete like the widebody? I know AWE used to sell them a long time ago but they're long gone off their website now.
And Rosemary proceeded to Catharin with intentions of a marriage with Theadore. When she arrived, Theadore opened the door and shot a blow in her eye, laughed, and stabbed her in the face with the mystical sword of Gizzru.

Tial 650's, CM850 Twin, ER SMIC'S AWE Twin, KW V3, TDI TRANS with RS4 3'rd gear, 034 Adjustable everything, Hotchknis Sway Bars, 034 track engine and trans mounts, Apikol rear diff carrier, JHM trio < dont do it its going out asap, only keeping the ss, 18x9.5 et 25 bbs lm's , sexy clean santorin <3
if you crash the CF splinters and nearly 75% of studies have shown there is a 98% chance of a shard piercing your retina.
75% of how many crashes though? ive seen carbon break and it actually retains structure in most instances, plus how many of us actually crash at such a rate of have that much mass on a vehicle that can or will enter into the cabin to do that? dont worry, its more an issue replacing them.

^^^You got me, that was kinda weak. I think he was joking though. No but seriously, is there any even remotely affordable option? $12,000 is kinda crazy.
How much actual interest for these products is there? Specifically, front bumper RS4 skin and RS4 front fenders, all in carbon?
I think if reasonably priced there would be a lot of interest but we would also need an option for rear fenders. If you could make some replica rear flares that could be molded in like you do with Seidl flares then that might make it easier than the oem route as well, although not sure if you can mold CF like fiberglass. I'd love to have a wide body rear bumper option as well so I could ditch my Seidl.

i am down for this idea, and an extended lip trunk to retrofit with the stock rs4 rear bumper. that way the fenders retain most structural integretitty. and the flares are the only liability rather than a whole rear quarter of fiberglass or carbon breaking. i suggested this in the fab forum awhile ago and knuckleheads scoffed. a MUCH MUCH MUCH cheaper alternative to a whole rear quarter of steel or fibers. and one step closer for us that really want a widebody s4
