just recieved a call from usp...I was told that when they opened the transmission they found a shifter screw completely broken off preventing the transmission from shifting into gear,the part should be in tomorrow or the next day...looks like we are getting rid of the BOV and putting in a diverter valve so i am not running rich between shifts..so the car will be drivable on saturday for the show but they won't release it to me until he gets the tune tweaked perfectly. so hopefully one more week and i will start posting videos

okay I am getting the car back but only for a day to clean her up for the show and get my gauge wired up so they can tune the car...got some pics and a very short video of it starting up before the battery died on my camera =/
My bumper was murdered to fit this intercooler setup, no rebar, no headlight washers no front grill..looks like an RS4 front might be on its way, or S4...

sorry about the blurry pics..took em without flash and i couldn't tell the difference at the time... I am getting the DV in a couple days so when i get it tonight or tmrw morning ABSOLUTELY no boost what so ever, I dont want to snap the shaft in the turbo bc the turbine spun backwards bc of not having a DV connected...also i love my new V-banded 3in custom exhaust =)

A DV is typically used on an engine that uses a MAF. Once the air is metered, x amount of fuel is used. Using a BOV on a car with a MAF will cause a rich condition while shifting, by blowing off the already metered air. Lol to snaping the turbine shaft. Nice exhaust!
Very cool build. Looking forward to some exhaust clips. I would do an S4 OEM+ bumper. It's what Im doing with my build bc my bumper is jacked with the custom FMIC. Its honestly the cleanest look you can go with.

I cant until I get some sort of recirculating valve or the turbo will spin backwards when i let off the throttle and BOOM! I have been doing a shitload of engine braking from 2700rpm-3000rpm during all my drives, I hear engine breaking is what really breaks in the motor

you haven't fixed this yet?! oh, and you CAN run a BOV with a MAF. you just have to run one like the Forge 004 BOV, that stays closed at idle. whenever you shift and a DV recirculates the air, it doesn't put it back in front of the MAF sensor, so there is no way that it can somehow read it again. ANOTHER internet myth.

Dropped off the car...had some problems starting it, felt like the fuel lines lose pressure if the car sits for 5 mins so its gotta be a check valve that failed...the guys at the shop are going to replace all the oem hose clamps bc im leaking coolant from them but other than that she runs very smooth
