Relocating to Knoxville, TN area

Hey Guys,

I am relocating out to eastern TN from AZ for a couple of years for work in early October. I have been out there looking around a bit, stopped in and chatted with a few of the folks at the Knoxville Audi dealership and they were very friendly and looked forward to seeing several of my older Audis, when I arrive. They mentioned there were not many on the roads there. I am currently very active with the local AZ chapter of Audi Club N. America and it appears the chapter out of Atlanta will be my best bet in terms of track days etc, unless I can garner enough support to establish a local chapter in TN? Not sure if this is the correct regional forum to be in to meet Audi folks in the Knoxville area, as it appears to be mainly FLA and GA guys? None-the-less, figured I would check in on this side of the county and hopefully will be able to meet up with some of you guys in the future at some of the regional GTGs etc.

There's a few KNOX people around here in AZ, altho it seems TN gets more represented from Nashvile and its 'burbs.

Either way I'm only just an hour and half or so drive south of Knoxville where I live as well as any Chattanooga people.


Edit: I'd be VERY interested in seeing ALL of your cars as well, thats one hell of a garage

Appreciate the info, as I will be down in Chattanooga and ATL for work on occasion so I am sure I can participate in some events in that area. No worries with wanting to check out the stable of Audis. It will just a bit of time to get it set up in TN......

I've been in the area for about 7 years now, not too many Audi guys, but conveniently we are located near one of the best roads in all of the US! Would love to tear through the gap with some other local Audi entusiasts!

Good to hear that they have some great roads back there.....I heard the Dragon road is a good one to tear up! I am hoping to organize some good drives and GTG's when I get out there! Appreciate the follow up!

No problem! And yeah sorry, that road has several names haha. The Dragon = The Gap = The Hill, I'm sure there's more I'm forgetting. The skyway is also an amazing drive. Definitely let us know when you're in the area! Good luck with the move
