Dirty road trip through the Canadian Rockies over the holidays.

Nokian Hakkapellita R tires kept me between the yellow and white and shiny side up! roads were clear and +5* till Banff, then all hell broke loose haha.

It's actually snowing at our house right now, but the difference between here and just a little more north is crazy. Seattle is getting way more than we are. Even just 50 miles north is getting quite a bit more. We're just on the edge of the storm

No, they're still my summers. 245/40 falken FK-452's to be exact.

I converted my car to coilovers their summer, and my winters are too tall now. I've been putting off raising my car up because it's been staying in the low to mid 40's here. Guess I'll be doing that today!

Ha ha. I left my summer tires on a little too long last season and took a drive up to Mt St Helens to explore the Ape Caves. Didn't expect there to be much snow at the time, but I was sliding all over the place. Quattro means jack shit when your tires are hard as a rock. Well, it means all 4 are spinning at the drop of a hat.

Why don't you sell your winter tires and get ones that fit? Beats raising the coilovers.

And....it just got delivered tonight in PDX after the trek from PA. We've been apart since Sept, I have missed it so!!

I need to dig up older photos of it...esp. from right after I bought it in 2003 when it was bone stock. On one of these pages someone else posted another Volcano Avant also stock and it reminded me of the days when I could stick my head in my wheel well...lol.

Thanks! Those are 18" Kahn RSS. Unf they are discontinued. Actually BOTH sets of my wheels are discontinued.

Its a 2005 S-line. We dont have the titanium packages here. I got my mouldings around the windows and roofrails wrapped.
Bought a set of black rings from ebay both front and rear for $35.
The rear lights is 17% lamin-x "smoke"
The suspension is H&R Monotube coilovers. :) Very happy with it.
And its a 2,0 TFSI with manual and it is at Stage 2+ from Revo ATM.

Looks like your standard B7 "optical illusion" reverse rake. The rear fenders on the B7 are lower in the rear, giving the appearance of reverse rake even when the car is level.
