Just a quick update for you guys. I installed the intake today and all i can say is I LOVE IT!! If anyone thought the supercharger was to quiet then go out and buy this intake. The sound of the supercharger is music to my ears!!! Before i installed the intake i thought the car needed a little more growl but i have to say the car with the intake is perfect!! If anyone is on the fense about this mod.. DO IT!! You will be happy all around!! Big thanks to stratmosphere for the awesome product and the great customer service!!

Can anyone get intake temps and the amount of air the intake is taking in?

I remember on my B6 S4, someone did the tests on the stratmosphere intake for that car, and the temps and amount of air were lower than the stock intake.

You could do this actively and accurately with Vag-Com. It can tell you intake air temps at several areas throughout the system, giving you an idea what (if any) changes are made.

Well the b6/b7 had alot of heatsoaking issues with intakes. They werent really beneficial on the v8's. They ran too hot

The only real gain you would get from this is to hear the currently masked SC whine to be honest :)

..and honestly that was my primary goal- sounds SO good in my book. But I'm no dummy, haha, I made sure it got rid of restrictions, keeps the air cold, looks fairly nice, and as a result- we consistently see a bump in numbers, and the dyno proves it.

I am curious however, as I think once we have ECU options, it may prove to help with those numbers.. we'll see!

Agreed, this is what I am waiting for. Historically with FI cars, you might get (just to throw out random numbers to prove the point) - Intake: +5HP, Exhaust: +14HP, ECU tune: +50HP if you look at them individual of each other, however if they are all working in conjuction and leverage each other per designs, you don't just add the numbers up and get +69HP, they would combine to become more than the sum of the parts, and give +80HP.
