Okay maybe its not such a general question but I'm hoping to get an answer so here goes the questions:
1) For a bi-turboed application eg. AGB, fallowing the MAF sensor, do both pipes leading to each turbo have to be identical in volume and length? or can they very in length? Remember this setup would be a 1 into 2 pipe configuration. Would the difference in the volumetric flow between two pipes that are non symmetrical in length affect the fuel delivery in one bank over the other. Would i need a special y-pipe or transition of any sorts?
2) Similar to the first question but for the charge piping running off the turbo. Do the charge pipes have to be the same length if i were to run a 2 into 1 configuration, ie bi-turbos to a single air to water after-cooler? Or can i get away with one pipe being shorter then the other when they merge at the collector?
Apologies if this question sounds kinda naive but i was just curious. If someone needs a better explanation would gladly go into more detail. Thanks guys looking forward to some in put.
