4th ride was a '70 VW Beetle I bought to drive across the USA from ND to Calif and back. Nothing special just stock 1600 with a Holley 2 Barrel carb and header. Was lowered to be a Cal Looker. Got 32 MPG on HWy.
5th car was a '83 GTI which I still have today. Was stripped to bare metal a few years ago at a Street Rod Shop and received a full repaint in stock Royal Red and a shot of clear coat ($3,000 paint job). All seals were replaced and pinstripping too.

Car will do a burnout in 3rd gear. Difficult to say since traction is a problem with this motor, but sub 14's in Qtr are very possible.

Pulled 12.50 at 110MPH at Sacromento Dragstrip in street mufflers with street BFG's. 0-60 in under 5! It would actually brake as fast as it accellerated. It would place your eyeballs in the back of your head under acceleration and pull your heart out when braking - just (f)ucking awesome! One on the fastest cars I have ever built or driven and still be street legal.
