There is a local seller selling some cross drilled rotors but he says they fit 02 to 06. Well thats b6 and b7 territory. Anyone know if they will fit b7. And b7 have bigger front brakes than b6 anyways so an upgrade for b6 may not necessarily be an upgrade for b7.. help

They use completely different rotor sizes. B6 is like 280ish mm, B7 is 320mm if I recall correctly.

I believe B7's have B6 S4 sized rotors from the factory. I could be wrong though...

B6 S4 fronts are the same as B7 A4's.

Too much wrong info. B6 S4 and B7S4 both use 345mm front rotors. B7A4 has 320mm front rotors. B6A4 has all much smaller rotors. You need the correct carrier to switch rotor sizes and sometimes specific calipers

Sorry, hence why I said I could be wrong. So apparently, the difference is in the rotor size. 320mm for the B7 A4 and 345mm rotors for the B6/B7 S4. Same calipers as far as I can tell.

Yes the B6s4/B7S4 and B7A4 all share the same caliper but the A4 and S4 have different carriers and rotor sizes. I have had the B7S4 front brakes for about 120k miles and i love them.

Nope, not adjustable. There might be a Durametric setting for it, but it's not something you can just adjust easily (Durametric = VAGCOM for Porsches).

It goes up at 73mph and goes back down at 37mph on 996s. On the air cooled cars it goes up sooner I think.

There is a switch, but it's down by the floor and not too easy to reach. It's really only intended for raising the wing to wash under it or work on it. Driving around with it up all the time is a poser move.
