There's a standing mile here in Florida on April 10th called Mile Marker 1. If anyone in the SE wanted to do a standing mile this is a good event. Went to the one in Oct and was awesome.
A local camaro 2001 ss with a built small block chevy with a 106mm turbo and 12psi made 800whp through a auto and it went 173 in the 1/4 mile, and here is his 60-130 time this is a stock suspension street car! 3.52 - LTLHomer / Home Built Camaro / Peddling http://www.youtube.com/user/LTLHOMER.../2/3NEi7PJ-UkQ
Congrats to D-Shot and AMD and their Tial 770 Project car. I just updated the initial thread. I currently have them VERIFIED running a 6.69second 60-130mph run. That is slightly faster than an Enzo.

Just verified D-Shot's AMD built Tial 770 data file. Congrats on a 6.19 second 60-130mph run.
I will have a special plaque made for the person with the lowest 60-130mph time at the end of 2010. This gives everyone time to get builds done and get runs in.

I would say a little tweaking, a faster shift, and some cooler ambient temperatures can make a world of difference.
Pretty much race gas and clutch that isn't slipping and this car is doing 5's easy. You can see the shape of the dip on the shift that the clutch takes a bit longer to grab compared to the previous run. You can also see the cluth slip in the prior run mid-gear, which it didn't do the 6.19. These PBox's make it easy to see what's going on that's for sure. 15 deg of timing and 10 psi might make it a little faster....

Got a question, probably been answered somewhere before, but is the one shift from 60-130 only possible on this car because of the RS4 gearbox, or is it possible on the standard one as well? What were you revved out to to hit 130?

I think the RS4 box helps more with 3rd gear than with 4th in that it pulls harder and doesn't require starting in 2nd gear to get acceleration up. All of Dave's runs end a little over 140mph and that's below redline. The two shift is also based off of turbo spool - you can see that this car is fully spooled and pulling max G's at 60mph in 3rd - which is not very common in bigger turbo cars so you'll see 2nd gear (and therefor 2 shifts) required.
I'll do a more legitimate 60-130, I was logging my car today and midway through 3rd was like, oh shit! I can just keep on going till 130. I grannied into 4th because I was unsure if I was going to do it or not still in my mind. It pulled a 10.9, so one of these days Ill get a good run in and submit it so Justin can verify it. Just a pretty good estimate of where it'll be. mid-high 10's for a Stage 3. We'll have to get some more for comparisons sake, but it truly goes to show you K04s may perform for the FATS, but 4th and 5th really run out of breath with K04s (RS4), so it really lets the larger turbos shine.
Judging by the trapspeed I'd say you could do it, high 4's that is.

Ah man, you put it in neutral after all that? Why do people do that and not just put it into 6th and let the RPMs drop... Much safer IMO then neutral at over 100mph.
Looks great though, I wish we saw more of it. Hard to see from the angle.

I agree with you. It is way smarter and I will be shifting into 6th from now on.

Agreed, it interrupts the balance of the car. Should shift to the next gear and slowly let throttle out
