Correct! You want to be at full accel, WOT, Boost already. Also the less shifts the better. Unless you are revving to 8K, the S4 will require 2 shifts.
Nice sticky! Something to maybe add would be a list of people who are willing to let others use/rent their V/P-box and what area they're in.
When did Alex do these runs BTW?

If it's possible with one when revving to 8k, does anyone know why Alex had two shifts? I guess I could go to Quattroworld and just ask him myself ha.

Chipped cars have a raised rev limiter. Any stage 1 s4 can do 60-130 with one shift, 3rd-4th right around 100 mph. U can without a doubt get to 130mph in 4th gear without hitting the fuel cut, it would be right around 7400. I said at around 7200 last time but i did the math this time to make sure.
Those are some pretty high rpms for a stock fly wheel and internals, but the car will do it.
Unless u guys are consider starting in second and shifting to third around 67 mph, which would be useless.
Video of the run Alex made last year, you can see 2 shifts were needed even when revving to 8+k. Here's the run directly after the 6.71 he recorded http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O2vnaGHp5PU.....

You can start in 3rd gear at 40 and start to build boost so you dont need to start in 2nd. Yes you might not be at full boost by 60mph but you eliminate that shift from 2nd to 3rd and than will only have that 3rd to 4th shift. Depending on how fast you shift, it might be a good trade off. It is worth trying it both ways IMO.
Not that my car is going to be a freak, but I'll post my vast stage 3 times.
Oh and I don't think a stock z06 is faster than a zr1 lol.
Looks like that one slipped on Justin.
That list was taken from 6SpeedOnline. IF there is a star next to it, it has been verified. if there is no star it is taken from somewhere else. like from a magazine testing.
A local camaro 2001 ss with a built small block chevy with a 106mm turbo and 12psi made 800whp through a auto and it went 173 in the 1/4 mile, and here is his 60-130 time this is a stock suspension street car! 3.52 - LTLHomer / Home Built Camaro / Peddling
Big thanks to jason@AMD.

I just picked up a Performance Box (slightly used for $350), so anyone in my area is welcome to use it. I'll be willing to share it to other states as well, but I'm not sure how the deposit thing will work. Once my clutch is back in, I'll post some 'stock stage 3' times.
Btw, what software would I want to use to represent graphs like this?

That seems a bit slow, no? S/C e46 m3's are in the high 8's.
There was 3-4 normal stage 3 cars on that list a while back and they all were between 9 -10 secs...
Here's were they should fall between which is very respectable considering the cars on the list...
9.1 - Porsche 993 RUF Turbo R (100 octane)
9.4 - Lamborghini Diablo VT 6.0
9.5 - Porsche 997TT
9.6 - Ferrari F50
*9.9 - Lamborghini Gallardo, stock, 2006, 6-MT, 2-shifts
*10.1 - Ferrari F430
How much faster RS6īd S4 is compared to normal (or tweaked) stage 3? Low 8īs, high 7īs?
Getting highs 7ss might be a tad much on the K04ss as they don't really breathe way upstairs like GT cars. Getting into the 8ss should be doable in a semi full weight K04 car I believe..
I just did a 60-130 next to a Gillardo today and put 1.5-2 cars on him on my E85 tune.... if that helps. I haven't had time to do a good 60-130 yet though..
Big thanks to jason@AMD.

That is high 9 second territory which is what most should expect from a healthy stage 3 car. When you have results email them to me, I will verify and post in inital thread. Cheers.

I'll have numbers for you by the end of the week.. I'll run a ECUx log and e-mail you.. Do you want .csv or .elg, the raw? I'd guess the .csv but just checking..

I logged the car today to get it dialed in for a good 60-130 run. My computer was low on battery and I forgot my charger in FL (my parents are shipping it tomorrow) anyways My car was running really lean For E85 so I will probably need another file from Mike before I get you a log Justin... I pulled a 3.29 FATS with it lean and I suspect that when I get it dialed in (I have to adjust my wastegates they are relieving too much pressure and enrichen the tune) it might touch into the 2.9s on 2 more PSI. I guess we will see I'm still only at 21.5 psi
