Audizine's Official 60-130 and Standing Mile List

I created this thread so only real numbers can be used. This is for anyone who would like to participate. I ask that you PM me or email me and I will incorporate all results into the initial post. Discussion can be left for the rest of the thread. Let's use this as a tool to push each other to accomplish new goals, not bash each other.

GPS based performance computer/accelerometer times (V-Box, Drift Box or Performance Box ) or VAG-COM/ECUX

PLEASE NOTE: Only GPS based or OEM based, datalogger times from V-box equipment (Drift Box, Performance Box, or V-Box) or VAG-COM will be accepted for this list. No extrapolated times from 1/4 mile time-slips. Also, all submitted data must be reviewed for accuracy and approved by a Subject Matter Expert (SME) before the time is posted. Please have a video of the run as well from in cabin.

How are you going to verify road conditions? I'll do this for my car to show a well running Stage 3 comparison, but I think my road is actually a slight incline that I'd be doing this on..

The GPS based systems track elevation change much like a Garmin Forerunner. How about we all not argue this. This has worked well in the 700-1000hp Porsche community for years so I am sure it is good enough for us. :) Every attempt will be made to verify and confirm results are accurate.

VAG and ECUX are welcome. If you are submitting results with these two systems we will have a good idea if they are accurate based on your mods and power. Not everyone can afford a VBox that is why I am accepting these results for now. I will be purchasing a Performance Box soon and will rent it out (FREE) with a refundable deposit.

If someone is on a decline of greater than 3% the results will speak for themselves in relation to their mods. But you are right, this is for the betterment of the community and to give us all a goal, not cheat a system.

Alex went 6.71 right before he ran the 6.91 the 6.71 had a 1 degree slope the 6.91 was directly right after with a zero degree slope. I think once Mike tunes the car and turns the boost past 25-26lbs he could go low 6sss or better.

The point of 60-130 is to get rid of the FATS standard. FATS is too short a period with not enough data to be truly accurate at really high HP.

I also vote to have a * next to GPS based results as those are more accurate and will be able to used against 6speedonlines database.

Personally, the point of keeping it limited to only certain logging tools is to keep alot of variables out. The iPhone just isnt precise enough. Personally, i think only Vbox runs should be verified, but since most owners dont want to spend the $500 for one, VAG/EcuX should be allowed, but taken less seriously because you cant prove you did it on a flat road.

Dynolicious will not be allowed. As stated above I will be buying a Performance Box this month and will rent it out free of charge with a 100% refundable deposit. I am doing this to help the Audi community.

No, for VagCom and ECUx you now have to submit two runs going in both directions on the same stretch of road if safely possible. All run are encouraged to be on video with submission to verify authenticity.

Ya, i wouldnt recommend that unless you rent an airfield or are attending an Event that is hosting that

When I get the Performance Box I will be willing to send it anywhere in the US of A.

Mile Event results can and will only be accepted from a organized and nationally recognized event. This is for EVERYONES safety. I can promise you going to the one in Texas (which is held once every six months) is well worth the drive from Colorado. There are cars there hitting 250mph. I twin turbo Gallardo did 241mph this past October. For reference stock Gallardo depending on driver is around 175mph.

So for a proper 60-130, do you have to floor it at 60mph exactly, or can you start at say 40mph and start timing once you get to 60mph? With big turbo it makes it more difficult for me to hit it at 60mph, becuase i'm at the bottom of second, way out of boost.

You would want to be at full spool and already at WOT before 60mph. This is the general consensus over at 6speed. Try to minimize shifts, maybe start in 3rd at say like 35mph and put it to the floor.
