Sometimes at start up my Audi runs rough. Kinda like blah blah blah blah blah blah. How do you type out a noise??? No dash lights. Seems fine after driving. It does it warm or cold. 35K miles and I checked the air in the tires recently. I was planning on plugs and fuel filter but haven't had time to get parts. Anyone have an idea on what would make it run rough at idle?

I've got a similar problem. It's barely noticeable, but definitely there. I was thinking coil packs and plugs may be the culprit, but haven't done anything yet. 17,500 miles.

edit: just got another ring, woot!

I would think a fouled plug or bad coil pack(s). But why no CEL? a miss would surely throw that and some codes. Maybe it needs to drive for a while before it pops up?

Bad gas? old gas? low octane?

No it's coming from the exhaust. Acting like it is idleing low but it isn't.
