We'd love to have anyone in the New England area who'd like to show off their baby come. It is going to be an outdoor show but strollers, bicycles, pets, etc. are prohibited from the show area.

I assure you we will have at least one member of our security personnel posted near any high end/exotics that come to the show to make sure we don't have kids crawling all over your cars.

The undesirables remark was meant more to mean drunks, assholes blasting their music at 150db, and idiots who want to do shit like burnouts in the parking lot.

IMO your S5 fits best in Import - Euro or Tuner - Foreign... Import - Euro is where I'd go so you aren't up against hondas with lambo doors.

Lux/Exotic is where I'm hoping a couple of the F-chat boys will be parked, perhaps a couple of the Bentleys off L4P, and maybe a Lambo or two...

not a big show person (especially the bigger ones), and if I do go I like to take the older cars. That doesn't mean I wouldn't stop by if I was around that weekend though.

interesting... i've never heard anything bad about Team 207 in Augusta from anyone except one of the 3 ricer douchebags that we had to physically escort out of a show earlier this year.

I dont know about that, but i was told by some club members that they didnt want to be involved with team 207, one had gone to a show and the whole time was criticized (by one of your members) about his wheel choice to the point that he left early, the other two had gone to a show and said they met you, they loved your car, but thought the whole time "He was a real dick", i guess you just acted like a know it all, and made their fun experience not so fun. I had to agree, remember when we went to NH last year? I had made a poor choice on grilles, but you went too far, right in front of me embarrasing me and dragging people over that clearly didn't care, to make sure they knew how bad it was, you pointed out every major and minor flaw on my car, tint, swirls, dings and scratches, tires, how dirty it was! it wasn't just me, at the pub some members mentioned how you picked apart their cars as well and acted like you knew more than them about every topic they discussed, The best part was how Scott the guy with the r8 was more humble and the friendliest guy there!
but, forget all of that, the number one reason why we're not fond of team 207, is because of a car show thatIhad organized here in augusta in july.
I had made it open to anyone interested in cars, regardless of make, it was to have fun, and talk cars. a team 207 member showed up in a red 300, he was not the only 300, there was 3 others, i went up as he arrived and introduced myself & he said he was from team 207, rolled up his window and sat there the entire time, the other guys had a blast, my freind with a 300 had a suspension Q and went to ask him, the guy rolled down his window and it was quite apparent he had been smokin it up, all he said was "im outa here, this isn't my kinda show" and took off. regardless of what kind of show hes into, it wasn't cool! we had a good turn out of 30 really nice audis. VWs. STis, and some great hondas, we all had fun and went for a cruise, then a beer. if that guy had'nt left we were ready to escort that douchebag from our show.

what show? I've only been to 3 shows in maine with the Audi this season... Bonny Eagle, Hodgeman's Frozen Custard and the Medomak show... at Hodgeman's I sat under our tent the whole time cause it was so damn hot and I talked to only a handful of people... at the Medomak show I hung out in the team 207 tent and I don't recall talking to anyone... and Bonny Eagle we were there for only an hour just to flyer cars for our show... So I would love to know which show this was... was it in Maine?

thats not how I remember it... I remember you saying you had just bought the car... and I gave you a list of things I said you should probably fix... the only person I did that in front of other than you was your girlfriend. The grille I pointed out to you specifically as something you probably should not do without getting seriously shit on... the several threads on here ripping you about it should prove that. none of it was meant to be anything more than constructive criticism... if you took it other than that i'm very sorry, it was not meant to be humiliating.

as for other members cars being picked apart... I was joking with Rob from EurodesignMK a person I was doing business with about how his car was in 2 colors when he was selling me a RS4 bumper that would have solved that problem. I also suggested to jneutron that he should get e-codes, and to the guy with the brand new S4 that it needed to be lowered. Neither of which should be construed as insulting... other than that I honestly don't recall saying anything

hrm... crispy is usually not like that... I'll bring this up with him next time I see him... let me apologize on behalf of Team 207 then... that is complete bullshit and it will not be tolerated... not only is getting blazed at a show a bad idea, its disrespectful.

glad you had a good turnout! you have no need to apologize, your rant is perfectly acceptable under the circumstances, if there are problems like that with members of our club feel free to bring them up to me via PM or on our team web forum... we would not tolerate that crap at one of our shows either.

... and with regard to my escort the ricer douchebags comment earlier... one was drunk, one was doing burnouts and was told to stop and wouldnt listen, the third was blasting his stereo so loudly the neighbors complained to the cops... I'm pretty sure you would not tolerate that at 8am either!

We had an amazing turnout for our first show... 248 cars registered, and we made over $1000 for Toys for Tots.
