yeah man im deff not rushing anything with this car. Did that with my last two cars and it just leads to problems. Between the three cars of mine right now and work I really dont have time to finish anything lately. The car is honestly as close as possible to being finished but I am dragging it on because I am still looking to see if any fluid is dripping from the slave cylinder I installed. The other night it looked like some fluid was around the edges of the slave and that just doesnt cut it. I need a perfect seal on that thing. I really dont want to have to yank it yet another time.

Im also sitting here patiently waiting on my driveshaft but things do not look so great with that at the moment.

Having trouble aligning shifter. Can get reverse, 1st, 2nd, 3rd but locked out of 4th-6th
That's using Audis suggested 3degrees to right and 7degrees back.

Debate right now is whether to go with a carbon fiber DS or stick with a one piece steel shaft.

yessir. I will get in there with a flashlight and my fingers and see what I feel tho. I can access Reverse. 1st-4th at the moment but not 5th and 6th. Im hoping/thinking its just because the gearbox was freshly rebuilt and the input shaft needs to be spinning. But I dont know bout that. I think I should still be able to nail all the gears.

Actually looks like I can get in every gear. Not very easily but it appears the biggest problem is that there is no reverse. May have to redo the shifter. SIgh.

Carbon shaft should be ready by next week. Had a driveshaft made for both my speed6 and s4. Soon to come out is a shaft for evox and sti :)

    Got her out the garage!
What a day its been. So many issues so many little things to wrap up. Only one major issue left and its the brakes. They mediate between extremely hard and very mushy practically not working. So I am guessing there is a pile of air in the system somewhere. I will try to bleed them out and see if that helps or not and then possibly take it out the garage for a song and dance later around 2am :)

Car is breaking in really nicely. Only put about 78miles on it so far. Car is running stupid rich right now. Getting about 17mpg. Back fires like crazy. The car also appears to have a faulty N75. Nothing new around here lol. Car boosts to ~21 and drops to around 15 and then boosts back to 20 or so and then back to 15. Still need to hook up the Meth controller and get this tune fine tuned a bit. In the process of getting a VAG cable that actually works and updating operating system on my laptop for car so I can run ECUx and send the logs off and get everything smoothed over a bit. Over all the car is a complete blast to drive. I can see everyones pashion for this car and I also understand how this has been a car I adored since 15. Well worth the 11 months it spent in the garage and the very large amount of money it drained from my bank account.

It goes in for alignment tomorrow. And dyno tune next Tues. Stay tuned for more pics and vids and logs in near future.

Looking good man, it must be great to be back in the car driving it again. I looked through the pages, this is with Tials right? Congrats, everything you did took time but certainly was a thorough job.

not yet it doesnt. The motor build will begin after I build my MS6 first. The S4 will be 3.0L 770 with built heads. But if I gut the car then I may just go with 605s instead since I will yeild the same acceleration with less weight.

Still being held back with my Mazdaspeed6. Hell the S4 has been sitting for awhile. Im going to start the process of gutting the car in the next week or two max. And then pulling the motor in july and doing some more work. Motor build and turbo build wont start till the end of the year at the latest.

I think your biggest problem is not having a real driver that can handle the power of das audi. I'll be glad to fill that spot for you after all the work is done.
Yah! You must make das Audi finished!!!!

Das Audi Is finally finished. I had to turn boost down a few psi because of knock because my tune calls for Race gas. At any rate it runs great. Just took bypassing the N75 and using a Perrin MBC to get a controlled and linear boost response.

Im already in the process of gathering parts for my 3.0L 770R turbo engine swap.

Scraped the crappy cayenne brakes and heavy rotors for a custom Competition AP Racing front BBK with 2 piece rotors and lightweight forged aluminum racing calipers

Definitely.. Eventually I'll need replacements for my Cayenne calipers, I run a 350mm 2 Piece JHM rotor now.. Would they be making a set that would work with what I have?

    Looking forward to installed pics.

Very small amount of material that was holding the OEM pieces in place was left to long so when you threw the shifter forward for reverse it was unable to make a complete travel to engage reverse. Took the dremel up to that area and carefully removed a little more material and it was now able to move forward far enough to engage reverse.
