I have a Q5 and would like to perform the same mod.
As mine is Automatic, RS4 does not apply to me.
Question: Does both RS5 and RS6 gas/brake pedals fit my car? What is the difference? Thanks.
It is my understanding that the RS5 pedals would be a direct fit.

I'm replacing the gas/brake pedals on my S4 tonight and just want to make sure i have all the steps right. For the brake pedal, remove the plastic cover and slip the new one on. For the gas pedal, slip the new one on top of what's on the pedal. No need to remove anything from the gas pedal?

You got it! Just make sure to have some hot water and/or lube handy to get that gas pedal on. It's a real PITA, honestly.

I wanted to add this little helper. It you have an Ipad or Iphone or smart device with a camera. Set it on the floor with the screen facing up so you can see what you are doing. Here are two photos I took while installing my new pedals. This really helped. I must have spent 40 minutes trying blind and 10 min to finish the job once I put the Ipad down. It is also great for making sure everything is correct & secure!
