Same here. I really like the way Coran is going about it, looks much more OEM.
Cannot believe it took me this long to stumble upon this thread. It will be our "Thread of the Week" on Facebook and Twitter, so now he's really going to have to step this up and get it done. We want to see some finished pics!
For some reason, this just doesn't look right to me. Having those wide fenders without RS4 'style', wide side skirts (or rocker panels?) to carry the lines from fender to fender, just looks off. Anyone agree with me?

it's just a matter of opinion. i like both personally

yeah, probably a wise idea to give neg rep to one that takes B6 styling to a whole new level
way to go, show us your car
you know what i mean... i am not talking about his car. his car is going to be epic, i am talking about no updates since... 08-19-2010 and that was just a post about possible colours. i feel like in 6 months there should be some type of progress on this... correct me if i am wrong. the negative rep thing was out of line... sorry to offend.
Not a first my friend. 1SexyB6 has had a widebody avant with all metal flares for several years now.
1sexyb6 eh... did he do the same method as 1sicka4...??
because i am aware that there were metal flares before mine..... but they were all done by taking little pieces of metal and welding them together etc.... u guys know what i mean... if u have followed 1sicka4s build you will see that they constructed the flares using multiple pieces of metal to achieve shape of the flares...
BUT NO ONE as far as i am aware had done it the way i decided to do it....******> my flares are all one pieces stainless steel made by a professional metal fabricator. Each flare was HAND MADe through the use of an english wheel to achieve its curves and what not.. u can grab the fenders and yank them as much as u want and they will not bend or even move the slightest bit.. these things are made to stay on there forever and ever....
so now... am i the first one to do a ONE PIECE stainless steel flares on a b6 A4... because i couldn't find anything like it before when i started the project.

Nope, 1SexyB6 had their flares made by hand on an English Wheel as well, ONE PIECE. Not to rain on your parade. lol
