Took this Gear out of a 2004 R32 Last week... there are supposed to be teeth on that gear!




Eurocharged Non-Dampened 180MM Crank Pulley didn't fair so well on this 5.5 Kompressor, we explained to the customer when this pulley was originally put onto the vehicle that it was improperly designed and did not allow for the use of the Factory OEM Mercedes Benz Crank Pulley Installation tool. Well the Un-balanced pulley finally came off :(

Front End / Control Arm Noise, Bad ABS Modules, Transmission engagement into 1-2nd, Turbocharger noise, Timing Belt, Leaks at Cam Seals, Leaks at Valve covers, Leaks at Rear Main Seal, wheel bearing noise, Knocking coming from the rear end of the vehicle under accel / decel. I could go on for a long time ....

How many miles are on it ? Maintenance Records ?

Pat, sorry I did not get to meet you Saturday , but did meet JR...great guy and very MB knowledgable. U guys are about 80 minutes from where I live not to bad. I left your shop Saturday afternoon, and suddenly CEL, no real power and a slight drone from the exhaust by my feet...def pre cat....literally 20 miles from your shop. I should of turned around and left the car in JR good hands, but I had no way home. Pulled codes, passenger side coil pack gone, all cylinders misfiring...actually JR called my cell and was very helpful. Limp mode rest of way home, since RS6 is nearing completion I'm down to my wife's ride and a 71' bronco. I really wish I could get the car up to u guys, but it's to long a way to drive in that condition. Hopefully dealership doesn't screw this up. Btw, I looked at service record of owner, he replaced coil packs 14 months ago. I assume all the unburnt fuel rocked my pre cats, by the sound of it.
