I know this is totally noob question but what is the benefit/difference between the various rotor patterns aside from asthetics and cooling? For spirited street driving I assume any of the patterns you offer will be fine and my choice is down to appearance preference?

I'd like a price for F&R slotted/drilled, black centers and outer edge(?) with gold zinc plating....is that a correct choice? If not, just suggest something close. Also wondered about stock calipers being painted? Do you do core charges or anything like that? How do I get into S5 calipers or other OEM, easy to fit caliper upgrade for a 2012 A5?

Mainly I'm interested in the F&R rotors and a set of SS brake lines....the calipers is mainly a question. Thanks for your thread, great looking stuff!

I'm not sure what you mean by correct choice...
we're fully made to order, so you have them how YOU want them!
with over 12 patterns, 3 zinc, and 5 hub coatings, the choice is yours.

we do not offer caliper refurbishing...that's something you can have done or do yourself.

if you upgrade to S5 brakes you'd of course order as if you were an S5 but would need the calipers/carriers to accept them.
...otherwise you'd order an A5 set-up.

we're in the process of updating our site to show these years, unfortunately it's not as simple as you would think.

as you'll see, there is a section for notes upon checkout.

do these fit with stock brake caliper? also is the rotor overall bigger? does it uprgrade the size a bit or just for looks?

as posted we make factory spec replacement rotors...they are plug n' play sizing.
they do improve performance w/slotting, and that doesn't require increased size.

I finally got around to installing my rotors, lines, pads. So far have done about 180 km; been taking it easy so don't have much feedback but aesthetically it looks great, and we're not even done yet, painted calipers and shields to come next.

Adam, do you suggest removing the shield that sits behind the rotor? I've seen many of your customer go this route and was wondering if you had any information/advice you may want to add?

nope...it's there for a reason (dust & heat) but you can, there is no benefit other than aesthetic...
