4500K is white, 6000k is a hint of blue.

How would you describe the 5000k light?

I would recommend a 50W or 55W from Bavtoys.com if you are looking.

    Re: DDM HID

Right now I am running 4000K 55W bulbs. They are really bright white with a tiny hint of blue. If you want the super white I'd suggest 4500 or 5000.

Beware of DDM Poor Quality & Horrible Customer Service

    Beware...

I bought a 55w 6k HID kit from DDM last Spring. Upon installation one bulb was dead and it took too long to get the replacement bulb. Then in late November a ballast went. I've communicated with them many times and they are now not replying to my emails. It's February and i've been driving with 1 headlight for over 2 months.

Last weekend the other ballast went! Great - no headlights!!!

I'm on the hunt for a new kit... I know the Prolumen kit I bought from Umnitza has been running in my BMW with no issues for a few years now.

Hey if it is still possible i'm actually looking into ordering the 55w 6000k for my low beams. I'd like to see what it looks like, is your car b6? i have the valeo projectors just no autoleveling. anyway thanks in advance.

qwks4- I had just spoke to their tech support friday and the guy was super helpful not trying to discredit you in anyway. Just saying you may need to call they could just be too busy. Good luck with everything.

My brother and I just ordered our kits from DDM and the shipping was quick and the kit came with everything needed, plug and play, no problems at all. My brother has a 2003 Toyota Tacoma and he got an h4 55w 5k hi/lo kit and I have a 2003 Audi A4 with oem projectors, I installed an h7 55w 6k kit. Here are some pictures of how it looks on both our cars during the day and a few light output pics:

Why do people post pics like this? You can see absolutely nothing. The color doesn't even show clear.

I don't recommend DDM or a 55W kit, but if you must...get whatever is closest to 4300K.

thanks man! nothing really special about the install, the hardest part was pulling the connector out of the headlight! lol if you need help with that, just watch the video here on to do it: http://www.a4mods.com/index.php?page...tml&category=3. i mounted the ballast right under the headlight, theres a little room and since i had the slim ballast, i used the double sided tape and it fit just perfect!! i just cut a little plastic off the side so when i mount the headlight, it doesnt crimp the wires coming from the ballast. i think i have some from at night, no glare really! Here (it looks better and not as much glare in person) :

these are the best i can do for now, sorry lol
