    b5 s4 sedan rear bumper fit b5 a4 avant?

Hello, I'm new to the audi world and the forums. I have a quick question for the gurus here.

So my initial inclination is that the s4 sedan bumper will not fit the a4 avant due to the liftgate, however will the lower rear valence from the sedan fit the avant?

Yes, I did a "rear bumper" search in the here but couldn't find the definitive answer.

not sure about that. call the dealership and ask them for both part numbers. if they are the same then it will fit.

i dont think it will work. the euro S4 rear bumper for the sedan and avant are different, see link. if they were the same they would just have 1 part number.

The bumpers won't work, we were talking about the lowers

I also looked into the euro rear as well and found out they are 2 different parts but I believe only because of the indentation for the hatchback portion whereas the lower part (at least on the us version) was questionable. Also, looking for the audi part# I feel would be a problem as the us s4 lower valence is smoothe whereas the a4 version has the dimpling so they should be different, but perhaps fitment would be fine. Anyhow, I"ll post back here if I found out anything more. Thanks for the comments everyone.
