To make it easier for us and to keep the forum cleaner please post all part number requests here. It happened to me several times where people ask for the part numbers and I posted them few times already, yes people can use search button but it will make it easier to look only in one place and spare us tens if not hundreds of threads.

if anyone has the part number for the plastic ball-mount-screw that goes on the coolant reservoir which holds the drivers side engine cover on, they will be my hero. i believe 04's have it and 05's don't. the parts index at the dealer for this thing is wrong.
reading through the detailing forum is like watching a group of helen kellers change my oil.

I;ve never seen 4.2 engine but here is the pic that I found, does it hold the piece that goes around the power steering fluid and windshield washer fluid?

Retaining frame lower part for boot - carbon: 8E0864261AE7V7
I have mine off now and it says 8H0 864 261 F 747 Ca(??) cant read the last 2 letters.
from my m6 05 cab. Mine had the carbon fiber curling up and delaminating, when I was fussing with it the c/f cracked, so now will be looking for replacement also.

Is this what you are looking for, number 15? If so the only number that I have is the one I gave you, if I take F out of your part number it gives me option 1WV which is nut brown so its not carbon.

I like this idea - and am going to sticky it up top!
Thanks, I posted same thing in other forums just because different car, models, part numbers etc, people in A6 forums started complaining but its your decision so you guys do what you can. I was thinking of adding B6/B7 S4/RS4 in the title so people from different forums don't post in the wrong forum. Any chance to get others that I posted in other forums to be stickys?

I had a little chip in the CF, so the shop reordered the piece (wrong part number twice already). It is #15, the actual surround piece for 6sp / CF.

yes it does

Can anyone confirm whether part number for the black B7 RS4 grille is 8E0853651JVMZ or 8E0853651AFVMZ?
TIA
From what I see in etka 8E0853651AFVMZ (black trim) and 8E0853651AF3FZ (alu trim) are only ones available. 8E0853651J does not have VMZ option which is black so I assume its discontinued and replaced with 8E0853651L. So the one that matches your picture is 8E0853651AFVMZ.

Alright guys, I need the part # for an intake part. I went to the dealer today and they couldnt find the right part.
Its the piece that keeps the actual air box on the side of the car. It goes inside the whole on top of the box and pushs in the side of the car to keep the box secured. I need the whole assembly, there's 2 small covers and then a plastic plug that plugs into the car.
If you guys dont have a clue what Im talking about I could take a pic. Thanks

The clips that you asked is the whole connector and the part number is 4B0 973 724. I assume you are talking about the one that plugs into the coil pack from the harness. Cant find the other screw, sorry.

Sorry about that, I just gave you the number that you asked for based on the picture, I am more familiar with B7 A4s since I have one.
no worries. the dealer has done the same thing twice, which is why i am now convinced it's a ghost part. lol. ill just have to go test drive another s4 or a4 and return it with one less plastic bolt.

Does anyone know if can order the metal clips that hold the rear brake pads in place. They usually come with the pads but I didn't change them when I did my pads and now my pads rattle over bumps.
TIA

Anything on the upholstery for the piece that extends from the driver's seat (i.e. the extending knee support)...
--I lent my car to a friend and it turns out he decided to go out clubbing and was smoking and dropped a cigarette and burnt a hole through it. FML. Dealer quoted $800 installed for seat upholstery. That's can't be right for just that piece.
