my girlfriend has a saturn SL2 (95) and is running KUHMO 732 PLUS tires. the manual says to defer to the specifics on the side of the tire for pressure info, but all it lists on the sidewall is max pressure. after a little internet scouring, it seems 30 lbs front and 28 rear is suggested. she currently has 33 front and 32 rear. any danger in this? any suggestions? should it be higher in the cold weather? thanx.

No danger, and depending on driving conditions and vehicle weight the recommended pressure can vary around 5psi. the only thing to worry is being too low or above the sidewall max pressure.
in the snow I like to have a little higher as it keeps the grooves a little more solid which helps traction (in theory). Cold weather generally keep a few psi lower, because when they get to driving temps the difference will be a lot higher, and thus the driving psi would be higher. but unless the car feels unsafe to drive I wouldn't worry about the winter difference.

She will also get slightly better gas mileage with harder tires. Not as much resistance.
