Canadian Motor Speedway!

Hey everyone. I was referred to this site by one of your members who suggested I sign up here. I am a member of the support group of the proposed Canadian Motor Speedway, I am not affiliated in any other way.

I just wanted to share some information with all of you motorsport enthusiasts who may be interested in supporting the cause.

Just a little FYI - this is not just an oval, it also has a 2.5 mile FIA road course, drag strip, motocross, BMX, snowcross, karting R&D facilities, eco park and the list goes on.

Here's the latest message I received. If you support this new facility please click the link and send your comments to the Niagara Region.

December 7th Fort Erie Town Council voted unanimously to approve the speedway.

December 9th the Niagara Planning Committee voted unanimously to approve the speedway.

Next step is with Niagara Council - so help the speedway and click the link to send your comments to the Region.

I've been eagerly watching the updates for this.

Such a venue in vicinity of the GTA would be fantastic.

This should be on the west coast already but we have too many tree hugging hippies here...
