If you don't need both hands on the wheel, then you're NOT driving.

    Re: ABS LIGHT

Some dirt/snow in the wheel speed sensor on the front is usually the trigger. Quit getting discouraged: it's a sports car and not a vuckin Toyota. A little contact cleaner (remove the wheel/tire for access) and VOILA!

    Re: ABS LIGHT

Even if it is a bad or broken sensor, your repair costs are very minimal and this is an absolute DIY job. If you have a vag use it, as it will tell you which wheel sensor is broken/malfunctioning. But if I had to guess it is the front wheel on the outside of your turn into your driveway.

    Re: ABS LIGHT

They don't heal. I suspect your ABS sensors all need cleaning. Ignore the warning at your peril, or something serious will occur. You'd hate for your ABS NOT to work when you needed it. Even if it was dirt, that means that some intrusion has occurred.

    Re: ABS LIGHT

NO, this almost ALWAYS means your sensor is dirty. If you don't clean it soon it will go bad, and then you'll be buying new ones.

Pull you wheel off and find the thing that looks the like picture! It is clear as day. No plastics or anything over it. Clean the square end on the bottom left of the picture.

    Re: ABS LIGHT

it can also be a faulty lateral acceleration sensor,
I knew it as I got both of them dead.

    Re: ABS LIGHT

Start with the simple things (ABS sensors) 1st. The LAS is a possible, but not usual, suspect. Do the ABS.
