Although yesterday I almost hit my dad's car as I turned into my driveway at 25km/h. It slid, I totally did not expect that. Barely any snow on the ground.

This image was just passed to us from our friend Zerin at SpeedSportLife. He's not sure of the source, but the obvious story behind it is priceless. We can't help but thinking this or a variation of it would look fantastic in an Audi winter print ad.

it's close, but not exactly the same. I'd hope that it doesn't have x-drive as bad as that looks.

Yes, that's x-drive. Otherwise the front wheels wouldn't have that pattern. THe front wheels would stay motionless while the rear drags around. The fact that the front wheels follow a similar pattern definitely means that BMW is crap-drive.

First of all that's not your buddy's pic. I shot that over a year ago and it's been on AZ since then. Second of all, BMW is RWD and I (Audi S4) has summer tires on and no issues going up the driveway.

You are correct. I too quickly assumed that when my "buddy" posted this on another forum that it was his car. I didn't read who was posting it in my post-drunken stooper. Not trying to take any sort of credit so relax guys. Honest mistake.

Hah, you can see where the DSC was kicking in for the BMW. Their xDrive AWD on models from 01-05 sucked. But the new xDrive AWD on the X5 and X6 would probably throw Quattro away. The xDrive on the X6 was named on of the best ever, its ridiculous. As for it being off roaded, never seen it.
