DIY: LED license plate bulb swap & comparison pics

Hello AZ,
Here are some pictures of BLESK Festoon LED's on a B8 A4 and there is no bulb out warning.
Unlike other LED's, these LED's have built-in error canceller function, so you don't need to put load equalizer.
In case anyone doesn't know how to swap them, I hope this helps you.

I am just about certain that they will throw an error code unless you install resistors.

I was responding to the question about the superbrightled bulbs not about the bulbs the op mentioned. I know that without a resistor the superbright leds will throw a bulb out error on a b7, which is why I said I was almost certain they will on a b8.

I had the racing dash LEDs in for awhile which did not throw an error code but they were way too bright for my liking so I switched to the festoon bulbs from superbrightLEDs.com about a month or so ago and they have not thrown an error code for me as of yet. If you search, Anthony has a thread about these festoon bulbs that have not thrown a code for him either

Yeah I have those same exect ones and I think they look great

I might buy one from superbrightled's and compare with Blesk LED's.
I think Blesk is bright enough that you probably don't need any brighter.

The ones from superbrightled does throw up an error. i got the 6 led bulb from them and when the tepreture is below 40 degrees, the error comes up without fail

My LED's still work like charm w/o any error message.
The other night, this one guy on a BMW E90 followed me into a gas station and asked what LED's I have on the license plate.

are "BLESK Small T10Led" in the accessories tab for $7.99

Lets update this to see if anyone gets errors after installing

Received in the mail today and already installed. Here's what i experienced.

My 2009 bulb housings were a pain to remove ..Finally after using several
flathead screwdrivers..I went with the largest flathead I had and inserting,
pulling towards the lic plate popped one side out of the housing out. Then
just jiggled and the other side came out pretty easy.

I put the positive portion of the led facing the right hand side (license plate)

Started the car and no errors. Will update in next couple of days.
