How do you know if your coils are going bad?

when i purchased my car last august i was told by the shop that i bought the car at that my car was lowered on springs. but today while putting on my new tires i actually took the time to look at my suspension...and i have coilovers, which now makes me worry. their VERY bouncy. you can push down on my car when it is parked at you can really make it go up and down pretty well...and now when i make left hand turns my car makes like a creaking noise and when i go over bumps (almost sounds like something is rubbing but nothing is)

just wondering what are some things to look for to see if my coils are going bad...idk even what brand coils they are.

    thanks.

Do they all look that bad or is it just that one? You also might what to check your control arms.

    Holy sh!t, they're ceased, definitely.

Looks like someone mounted a cheap coilover kit or mistreated it very badly.
