I'll come out to a dyno day on the 28th but I'm not throwing my car on the dyno. I'm pretty sure I can do the math on 340 crank minus about 25% drivetrain loss.

If we get some people to chip in, we can grab some meat for the barbie. If you go see Marco and arrange it, tell Steve Simon said he's gotta be there too so he can man the grill.

I would be curious to see how the car would pull against your M3 after I do the APR tune, put piggies on and install the lightweight flywheel. As I know little about cars, that should still make it slower against your stock M3, no?

I'm more into this to see if I have the power dip at 2500rpm....

but for the record i don't think that would be slower than a stock M3 ...besides if I wasnt so tired of the B7 interior ..i'd definitely take an RS4 over the M3

Right. Here it is. Saturday, November 28th. 9am start. Steve said the first car has to be on the dyno by ten am. We need ten cars. No more than that as there isn't time.
This is a rain or shine event. So if you're serious, call Magnus (Tel. #: 905 669 8400)and ask for Steve Ingram. He'll take a deposit off each of you via your credit card, and he'll cut it off at ten cars.
The price is usually $150 for awd cars but he's saying $125 each and if you bring a 2wd car the price is their usual rate of $100.
They'll lay on burgers and sausages and soft drinks. If you want something different, please feel free to bring it. We may have to cook ourselves if Steve has to man the dyno, but we'll see how it goes. Maybe Marco will be there and Steve will be free to cook for us. Not sure about that.

Magnus is located at 8600 Keele street, Unit #33. Their dyno is located at Unit #12 on the south side of the complex.

Obviously, even if you're not getting your car dyno'd you can still come out and place bets on who's got how many ponies..

Now if for some reason this doesn't generate enough deposits, it will be called off. (So don't wait til the last minute to call w your cc#)
How many that is will be up to Steve. If so, I'll let you guys know in this thread middle of next week and those who put $$ down will have to figure out whether they refund or sort out individual dyno time w Magnus.

The only reason I'm setting this up is I know the guys there. I won't be dynoing my car. So if you have questions, post them here. But I may not have the answers and you may be better off asking Steve at Magnus directly.

I will be there on the day. But this is your day not mine. So if you have an issue, you can get a tissue. I'm just the messenger.

Three runs for $125. Their prices have gone up to $150 but they're doing $125 for us.

Figure it like this. having one or two of these guys and the dyno for pretty much a whole day for the combined price of $1250 for the ten vehicles. And they're throwing in food.

But if you guys are going to flake on this, then I'm going to call and pull the plug. I don't want to have them reserve a day and me have to cancel last minute due to lack of interest. That makes me look bad. Let me know.
