i've searched the forums and couldn't find anything that's truly a plug and play unit.
Meaning no wiring sticking out, no wires , nothing...
Just a straight up housing replacement.
Any vendors selling this type of unit or anyone else.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you

It's a joke!
I've been trying to call for the past 3 days and all i get is a voicemail...
I even pm'ed them on Monday and no reply!!
yo yo :)
Think a lot of vendors are at SEMA this week so they are probably plotting new stuff for us so cut em some slack/ I pester the shit out of these guys and they are always good about getting back. Trust me the led's are worth the wait. No fault codes, stupid simple install and quick frankly look AWESOME
When did you attach a hunk of the Sun to your trunk?
lol that shit looks absurd.
way too bright.
hopefully it's just the way the picture came out and you don't actually have a supernova tethered to your trunk.

It's the quality of the picture and the camera phone. Wasn't able to accurately capture the lighting of the LEDs. See my above post (#5) for a more accurate representation.
1) As Alkivar eluded to in this thread (Post #3) the step by step install posted was mine (see his link), the install could not be any easier. If you need some assistance let me know.
2) As far as the hunk of sun, cell phones notoriuosly suck for taking pictures, look at the picts that Wes posted in this thread and the other thread that Alkivar refered to, those are more accurate. If you want a very dimly lit plate, then leave the stocks in.
3) Cut Wes some slack. Not sure if you know what SEMA is but these guys are consumed at this show and are trying to run a business as they are keeping it thriving by attending the show. Wes has great customer support and obviously a bit tied up right now. My experieince with Wes has been top notch.

haha its the camara phone ,sorry about that but its the only source of pic taking i have. but if you are about 2 car lenghts away its not that bright it looks really clean way better than the yellow bulbs.

I received the an email notifying me it has shipped.
Thanks again!
As mentioned they don't fit.
I don't know what happened to my previous post but someone deleted it for some reason. Here are pictures
Anthony screwed up a bunch of threads by accidentally deleting content. it was not an intentional deletion of your posts.
as I said in my posts that disappeared, that is quite odd, as ETKA (audi dealer parts software) lists the 2010 S5 Cab as using the same exact part number as the 2008-2010 Coupes. Clearly this is not the case with your car. This is the first i've seen of this particular design.

That's what I thought too, this 2010 S5 Cab is one unique case, but we guaranteed fitments so we'll refund you fully, YouYou. =)
Found this vender (http://store.ijdmtoy.com/Mercedes-BM..._d36_sku29.htm) from the A5/S5 Owner's Club forum and it would appear that these should work on the cabriolets. I just bought a set and will f/u on this after I try them out. They also carry ones with 3 SMD as well but I was afraid that they may be too bright.
Received the LEDs today. They are indeed plug & play and more importantly, there is no fault code noted by the car. Here is a quick photo of them on my dirty car.
I had probably 3 sets of those. They always either burned out, flickered, or did something funky within a month. I ended up just going for the housing replacements, no problems in the 8 months or so I've had them.

Problem is there is no complete housing replacement for the cabriolets. Someone please correct me if I am wrong.

Its too late for me now, I will report back if I have any problems with them.
