Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe it's safe to say that for those of you who are unsure what harness you have, if it has the four connectors(brown, red, and two black) coming off of the quadlock, it is the non-Bose harness.
Sorry if my reply was confusing, the Bose system has four channels line out to the external audio amps, the non Bose, has the two front channels driven by the HU directly, and the two rear channels as line level outputs to the rear channel/Subwoofer amp.
For a Bose setup, the quadlock connector terminals described next are populated with a wire to the ISO connectors at the other end of the harness adapter:
T12f/5 Blue, Bose coding to ground.
T12/3 Green, Left front channel line out to amp R12
T12/5 Left Rear channel line out to amps R44/R12
T12/8 Signal ground to amps R44/R12
T12/9 Right Front line out to amp R12
T12/11 Right Rear line out to amps R12/R44
T12/7 K line for Diagnostics to ISO connector
T8h/9 CAN buss High Infotainment
T8h/10 CAN Buss Low Infotainment
T8h/14 Ground connection via central convenience control module. Anti Theft warning system.
T8h/15 30, +12vdc Jumpered to T8h/16, Anti Theft Warning System.
The above connections are for the Bose setup, the other listed connections must be present and connected to the appropriate ISO terminal connector so that the Sym II+ will boot up and then be able to be turned ON. The K line diagnostic connection must be connected so that the HU can be coded properly after installation.
