Happy Unitronic Stage 1+ customer!

So I've had my 06 A4 for about 2 months now and coming from my background of modded cars I just couldn't live with a "stock" car any longer.

I had a great experience with the Unitronic flash on my 07 GTI with about 60,000kms of trouble free spirited driving.

I have been dealing with SEM Motorsports in Toronto since about 2000 on two previous cars... great price and service (shamless plug) www.semmotorsports.com

Anyways...

I opted to get the stage 1+ (93 oct) tune on my Audi. The 1+ gives 18psi vs 16 psi on the stage 1 (91 oct) tune.

First impressions were great after the flash, as there is an immediate difference in power delivery.

now after 2 days of driving the ecu has adapted and the car is pulling like a "frieght train" in the midrange compared to how it use to. Biggest difference would be in 3rd and 4th gears merging on the highway and such.

Also I find that cruising on the highway now at 100-120km/h I don't have to downshift to get power to pass. TQ is there now.

So Unitronic has a happy repeat customer!

P.S The person who got my 07 GTI lease return got a free Unitronic chipped GTI :)

Nice, yes, sweet spot with any of these ECU upgrades is in the midrange. Audi turbo engines (and now supercharged) have a pretty flat torque curve which suits everybody for day-to-day driving and the mid-range is where most of the biggest gain is found.

this is litterally my only mod left for me to do (well, and maybe wheels) for me to be happy with my car. Ive just been waiting until my co-worker gets his shop setup with Unitronic because theres a very good chance i will get the hookup! should be just a couple more weeks!!!

Glad to hear you're happy with it. I'm between Unitronic and Revo for stage 2, but like audithisworld said, I have heard nothing but good things from Unitronic.

uni stage 2 with rai dp/tp . love it car pulls good and no cel!
for anyone remotely interested in going bt id say uni is a better choice, but revo has more flexibility with the sps if you plan to stay k03.
both are solid options.
my friend with a mk5 went with giac and now he has a cel at st2 especially with nj inspections

Just sent an email to john during the weekend. Waiting to see what they say now. If it takes more than 4 days to reply then, I am getting my money back and moving on
