i dont even see what reason they would even think they have for being mad at you for rallying an audi. they are probably just mad that you can do it in a "luxury" interior

that dont look too bad where you mounted them. iam starting to like it more and more. maybe i will put two more on my car there ahah
haha do it. it only takes 2 L brackets and a 3inch piece of steel and some fabrication. im actually thinking about adding two more because all id have to do is fabricate a slightly longer piece of steel and bolt it to the existing L brackets. maybe add another bracket on both sides for support. they worked amazing last night and the water was over 6 inches deep in some places flowing over the road

rally is the bomb
pic whoreing over
i think i might go back to this set up soon. its kinda rainy season up here. wouldnt mind having some fun in the mud/gravels.
this car is simply the most awesome thing i have ever seen. rally is by far my most favorite type of racing. sweet job on this car man. huge props!!!
Decided to bump this up and show off my new addition. I took ForceFed's idea of how he mounted his lights. just a bit different. I wanted my lights spaced out a bit, and not covering the Audi rings. A friend of mine helped me out with it all.
I havent hooked my hids up yet, b/c I got too cold. Hopefully in the next day or so, everything will be finished.
im not a mega knowledgeable fan, but ive always loved the escort cosworths.
since i was a child, everytime i saw a lamborghini, it represented a mans risillience to oppose an imperfection. and i swear god blessed ferrucio and his honor to stand the trial of time through ingenuity.
sick a4s
i like the look with the lights never seen it on an a4 till 2day now i want to get some mounted on mine. i was by ikea so i stoped in and bought the flexible cutting boards. they were 2.99 per 2pack. i looked on that link and cut them the same size as the specs on there showed now i have to spray paint them black then mount them on my car.
Does anyone have the dimensions for these? The tutorial link is dead. I really want these on my avant
@xdwaynex: That looks great. Just 2 lights, not blocking the rings, easy to fab up, and easily removable. I'd love to get a setup like that for next winter. I think I'd want them *just* wide enough so I could throw 2 more on in between if I wanted to later on. Probably work a Euro plate mount into the bracket as well, as my bumper doesn't have holes. Gosh, too many projects.
All I'm seein is a little spray on some cars and a lot of lights. WTF??

this thread is awesome. Glad someone bumped it. I really like the easily removeable brackets for the rally lights. I just added that to my list for a winter setup. thumbs up guys!

Ice racing is so much nicer with heated seats! And with the heated steering wheel in the allroad. That thing is nice.
Note to self, buy all road heated steering wheel.

Mine has been rallying about a dozen times. A few TSD, some dirt road time trials (closed course), and even a couple trips through bob's mud bog with the snow tires. Bob's is like an autocross course made of gravel and peanut buttery mud. We also do ice racing on frozen lakes when conditions allow.
The bumper lights are Hella FF75s with upgraded bulbs. The rest are 55 watt hid. The Hellas will get a set of 3000k 55w hid this winter. The headlights have been modified so that I can aim them up or down manually using a switch in the car. I've got mounts for the big round Hellas (500?) that were in the bumper of the Outback. They could go on the roof rack if needed but there was always plenty of lighting.
The car has forged rods, ported head, big clutch, custom valved bilstein hd dampers, linear shine racing springs, and stock mudflaps...
Ok I know this old but just went throught his thread. Where did you get the mudflaps?
