Tyler taking it to the next level... That engine really should be on display; work of art... Can't wait to see the brakes as well; I might see if you could help me re-do mine...

anyways, I think that's the cleanest head I've ever seen
No way is that the cleanest head you have ever seen! I can't believe that, but thanks Clint.

It basically is on display in my garage, if history is any indication it spends more time out than in. lol What needs to be done on your brakes, If I remember right you did something similar?

do you have plans to use the vvt through out the rpm range as 034 did some time ago Tyler?

We discussed this yesterday, Tyler....... The best way to keep a BAT car from breaking is by leaving the engine out.
Nice pics. Did you ever hear any cam chain tensioner noises before removing it? I swear, at low rpms under load I have a faint diesel like sound that I believe is coming from the CCT. The dealer techs said everything sounded normal.... I'm thinking about switching it out but I'm scared to put down $400-600 to not rid the sound.

Does that happen with more loud noise when the car is cold ? like if you open the window , and try to ven touch the pedal, like something is then tensed - and hear the tick in the engine bay . . ?

I can not remember back that far as to what it was sounding like... sad but true. But we have them for a pretty good price:
Im doing brakes after my stage 3 is working as intended, most likely b6s4 brakes front/back.
Id do the letters in black, but red will look awesome too
One thing I always have been wanting to do is to paint all the engine components, the alu ones in silver powedercoat to get a nice smooth surface on everything, that would be soooo easy to keep clean!
I think if I was a good photographer I'd get insanely frustrated because I'd take absurd pics of everything and then look at them and realize how nice they look and never put them on the car. I'd end up with a stock car and a garage full of parts

There are times when I don't want to put some of my pretty parts on the car..... like my TiAL wastegate. I wanted to take it to bed with me and sleep with it. So pretty.
Maybe when I'm rich I'll just dissemble a car and powder coat everything....then mount all the pieces on the walls as "modern art"
I'm sure you guys are sick of seeing these, but I'm stoked on the finish. After test fitting and measuring a 10mm spacer was a perfect fit.
less than 1mm of clearance... yessssss.
I played around with some paint in the lettering and was less than thrilled with the outcome. The bevel on the lettering makes getting a clean line almost impossible and they cheapened the engraving. Once colored they looked like a sticker, so I'm keeping them single colored. Simple is a bit more my style anyway.
