Do the LS1 swap, i'd love to see it. I really want to do it also, Put a LS1 in my B6 and swap my 1.8T into my older audi.

I failed...
I just got my hands on a complete 04 TIP 4.2 S4 v8 swap
I really wanted to go LS GM but my wife wants it Tip. All the adaptor plate are made for manual trannys.
Plans are drop suspension, new wheels and front brakes.

It's a lego engine (someone posted a different vid in the chatterbox section) but this relates to what you're saying.
Notice how this motor acts JUST LIKE an actual V8 with a huge cam...it's sweet!
At 1:10 he idles the motor (which is sweet to hear) and starts revving it...sounds just like a Camaro staging.
