schools done. baseball is done. 3 weeks till school starts, there will be a LOT more updates now. got down today. engine bay is basically done. started to prep drivers side of the car. shaved the line on the rear bumper. smoothed out both rear fenders. ripped the vinyl off.

tomorrow ill prep the trunk/roof/maybe hood. and see if i can get my rear bumper back together and smoothed out. and put the other rear wheel together and mount the tires!

finished the rear wheels. im not sure if i will mount the tires tomorrow because the silicone needs to settle. so if not tomorrow then monday for sure. passenger side is ready for primer. need to get the hood going next. almost finished shaving the line on the rear bumper. moving fast.


so whats everyones thoughts on me dropping in the motor and THEN painting the engine bay? i want to get it all running and make sure its good to go first. and possibly drive it to the shop. i dont think it would be a problem since everything is tucked. it should be pretty easy to mask off the engine bay stuff and shoot around it.right?

threw on some of the front end stuff and just threw the motor in for shits and gigs. all the body work is done, aside from the front fenders, front bumper, rear bumper, and sides.

ill be working on the rear tomorrow and hopefully get close to finishing that.

havent had time to work on the car much since school/baseball started back up. right now im just saving up all the cash i can since everything is done except for the small stuff. gonna have the shop finish the prep and paint.

BUT i did finally buy the cable to re route my battery to the trunk. this weekend i HAVE to finish the brake lines/gas line/ battery cable as long as it gets here in time. and im going to start bolting up the accessories to the motor.

btw, there is a honda civic at my shop with a roll cage that i think may fit in my car, so that would save me some hassle. ill test fit it when i tow it over there, which should be next week.

update. if anyone tells you to get 0/1 guage wire to relocate it to the back, its focking overkill!!! haha bitch running that big ass wire. had to take out the drivers side seat

yep. still at the shop. prob pick up the rear bumper this week and try to start molding the rear by the weekend depending on time. but if he worked on it at all ill take some pictures.

I've had them come greased on the inside. Makes sense, no reason to grease the outside though
