The door lines won't match. There about 5 mm out. I've seen a few people cut the wing in half. B6 near the door and b7 near the headlights.

You also need the front slam panel, i.e the part that holds the radiator.
Also the front bumper reinforcment bar.

Hi, i'm referring to the A4 b7 SE wing and a4 b6 SE wing. If you cut it just infront of the wheel arch.

The doors will be b6 and the back part of the wing next to it will be b6.
the headlights will be b7 and the front of the wing will be b7.

I have them posted on my build thread....used them to switch the wiring around and it does work!

20 Weeks - It emerges from its grave

Have been really busy working on the car so haven't had a chance to take any pics.
Finished all the plug welds. Sanded them down smooth.
Fitted the inner quarters and folded the outer quarters over the,.
Covered all the welds with Zinc coating and the inner arch with Wax oil.
Took it out as its going to get sprayed now.
Got it half way up the ramp and it got stuck.
But managed in the end.

THE BODY SHOP HAVE STARTED ON THE PREP WORK.
QUITE A LOT DONE ON THE CAR.
ONLY THE BUMPERS LEFT.

LOWERED THE CAR AS WELL.
PUT SOME KONI 50MM LOWERING SPRINGS ON IT FRONT AND BACK.
DON'T KNOW IF IT I HAVE LOWERED IT TO MUCH, SO JUST IN CASE,
I 'VE ROLLED IN/FOLDED IN ALL FOUR ARCHES. SO THEY ARE TOTALLY SMOOTH.

TRIED FITTING MY RS4 EXHAUST TODAY.
CAME ACROSS MY FIRST ISSUE.
THE BACK BOXES ARE TOO BIG. THE RS4 DOES NOT HAVE A WHEEL WELL. IT HAS A BATTERY INSTEAD OF A SPARE TYRE.
SO HAD TO MODIFY THE WHEEL WELL BY TAKING 3 INCHES OF EACH SIDE.
THEN FABRICATE A METAL FRAME AND CASING TO FILL THE CUTOUTS.

I'M GOING TO FIT A SUB IN THE WHEEL WELL LATER AS ITS TOO SMALL TO FIT A SPARE TYRE BUT BIG ENOUGH FOR A NICE SUB.

THEN MY SECOUND ISSUE, AS MY CAR ORIGNALLY ONLY HAD A SINGLE EXHAUST ON ONE SIDE. THE OTHER SIDE HAD THE FUEL TANK.
THEREFORE IT WAS EITHER CHANGE THE FUEL TANK OR MODIFY THE EXHAUST. I CHOOSE TO MODIFY THE EXHAUST IN TO A Y SHAPE RATHER THAN THE ORIGNAL V SHAPE.
FITS PERFECTLY. HAD TO FABRICATE SOME MOUNTING BRACKETS.

I ALSO TOOK OUT THE CENTRE BOX. SO ITS A STRAIGHT THROUGH PIPE FROM THE CAT TO THE BACK BOX.

FITTED THE KONI 50MM LOWER SPRINGS

FRONT

AND BACK

THE MODIFICATIONS I HAD TO DO TO THE WHEEL WELL
SO THAT I WAS ABLE TO FIT THE RS4 EXHAUST.
WELDED 3MM THICK METAL PLATES

THE FRONT WINGS WITH THIER LIP FOLDED/ROLED IN
THEN SEALED WITH STRONG ADHESIVE SEALENT

Went over this weekend to have a look at the respray.
While i was there i fitted the rear glass and rear quarter glass.
Then the wiring loom for the doors and the door glass.
I also attached the door selonoids to pop the doors open.
Oh and the rs4 mirrors.
Not bad for one days work.

RS4 PROJECTOR LIGHTS JUST LANDED

ONLY PROBLEM NOW IS HOW TO WIRE THEM UP.
THE WIRING LOOM ON THE RS4 IS TOTALLY DIFFERENT TO THE A4
I'M GOING TO USE SOME AFTER MARKET BALLASTS AND REWIRE THE WIRING.

You need an adapter lead, not sure what its called but im sure someone will step up.

I think Kufatec has some adapters, but I dont know if you had OE xenon on your old headlights..?
I still have some FIS-warnings coming up on mine. Guess I need more resistance in the wires that goes to the fullbeam function.
B7 only has a magnetic valve that lifts the lowbeam up to fullbeam, while the B6 has its own bulb.
And I get a faultwarning on the up/down adjustment of the headlights... dont know why...

There are different wiring adapters depending on if you started with xenons or not, and if your lights are adaptive: http://kufatec.com/index.php?main_pa...ort=20a&page=2

If this gets rid of your bulb out warnings let me know! I'd pick up a set myself.

BTW, Billi- do you have a pin out of how you wired your tail lights up? Just a photo maybe?

Hi yeah that would help me to.

I've opened one of the lights and can see where all the wiring goes. I'm going to try wiring it without the kufatec adapter. If it works i'll right up a wiring diagram.

just buy the wire harness for RS4 trunk and splice the wires inside the car.

Got my car back home and started on it straight away.
Front end all fitted.
Small carbon effect front lip.
Xenon lights fitted.
Wired the front lights manually and have no error lights on the dash.

no probs. Quite easy to do. I didn't use the kufatec kit.
I did it manualy one wire at a time. I have it all recorded which wire goes where etc. Pm if you need.
How far you got with yours.
