I have been switching between my two sets of summers, and cannot make up my mind which ones to keep. Ideally, I would like to sell one set, and keep one set....but as the summer wears on, it seems likely I'll keep both. What are the opinions of the fellow S4 owners out there:

Option 1 – BBS RE Forged 18X8 ET 35 with 235/40/18 Conti ii – Silver over Black finish


Option 2 - BBS CK 19X8.5 ET 35 with 245/35/19 Proxie T1R – Polished finish

I would definetly say the 19 CK's. To be honest, go for the RGR or RS-GT.

I said sell both just because I dont like the finish on the CK's and I dont like the RE's that much. Go for some rgr's or rs gt's and you'll be good to go.

REs for sure, but realize the 18x8 ET35 will look a little "sunken in" the fenders. But if you don't mind some spacers, they'd look great.

EDIT: I didn't read closely and I missed you already own both. I'd still take the RE style and lighter weight any day.

Sell which ever set is in worse shape and keep the cleaner set. Not enough difference between the two for me to really vote for one versus the other.

i'm not one to criticize someone's car, but since you have 2 sets I will

car looks terrible in the first pic...and looks incredible with the 19" CKs

no brainer. Sell the 18s, keep the 19s.

Each option seems half right. Since they are summers, get some light, strong, wide 19/s and be done with it. Wrap with wide sticky goodness and enjoy!

Those REs would make some sweet winters though, strong, light, skinny with more cushion.

Thanks to all who voted - looks like the CK's are the clear winner. IMO the CK's look the best and the RE's ride the best. Their is a very noticeable difference in handling with the RE's - they shed 47 lbs of unsprung and you definitely feel it when you accelerate or brake. I wish they made forged CK's.

i voted sell both but NOT because you hate bbs. because id like to see you get em polished personally..... but if thats what you want thats what u want so it shall be.....
