Hello and welcome to another installment of Audizine's Monthly Newsletter, this one being for June 2009. Just like last month, things have been crazy busy here at Audizine so my apologies for getting this one out a bit later than usual. There's lots to get to, so away we go...
As we do each and every month, this newsletter thread contains a rundown of the latest Industry & Motorsport News since our last installment, as well as details on the current month's Featured AZ'er. A somewhat newer tradition is our Monthly Audizine Poll, and we end the newsletter with our usual thank you to the companies recently joining or returning to our family of Official Audizine Advertisers.
As touched on in last month's newsletter, we have the return of the Audizine Baseball Hats which are now available for pre-order, as well as further details on this year's big Audizine Photo Contest. The top photo will not only be featured on our newest Audizine Postcard Flyer, and in next year's 2010 Audizine Calendar, but also in a first-ever Audizine Poster (plus additional prizes, see complete rules and our lawyer for details)! If you haven't done so yet, then get of your ass and submit your best photos for a chance to win!
Please use the Table of Contents above to jump to a specific section of interest, or read on below for all the latest news and information from around The Zine.

It's all in the family. No, not the 70's sitcom starring Archie Bunker. I'm not even referring specifically to the Audizine family. I am talking about the influence one's own flesh-and-blood can have on their car addiction. Most of us probably have some recollection of the cars that our father (or mother) drove and tinkered with when we were growing up. Some might have older brothers (or sisters) that were into cars. The lucky ones have family that are still into tuning, that support their habit, and that may even help them work on their cars. If you grew up in a family that actually owned an automotive shop and had some of their vehicles featured in magazines back in the day, then odds are pretty good that you'll follow in similar footsteps. That leads me to Jay, his 2008 A3 Sportback, and our June 2009 Featured AZ'er. More
After a several year absence, the Audizine Baseball Hats have finally returned - and just in time for summer.
Available in either a Velcro closure in Basic Black or Stone White ($15.00 each) or in a Flexfit in Basic Black ($17.50 each), the front design is our familiar Audizine "A" embroidered in four colors (black, red, yellow, and gray). The back has our "Audizine.com" logo also in four color embroidery, arched above the Velcro closure and straight across the back for the Flexfits.
Orders will begin shipping the end of June / early July. A limited number of the hats will be made, and when they're sold out they may not be available again for awhile. Get your order in now while you can!
As we announced last month, we're currently running an Official Audizine Photo Contest which will be wrapping up at the end of the month. If you haven't gotten in on this then you better hurry up. Thanks to the team at Velocity Motoring we're also going forward with a full-size full-color first-ever Audizine poster, not to mention a few big $$$ prizes to be had as well.

You may have seen countless threads on this topic over the years, but we here at Audizine have yet to do our own real truly official investigation into this age-old debate. We feel it's time that this burning question gets answered once and for all, so let's hear your thoughts - what really is the fastest color!?

You can find a complete list of our Official Audizine Advertisers within the Audizine Advertiser's Corner.
Lastly, I wanted to end this month's newsletter with a reminder note to any and all AZ'ers planning on attending Waterfest this year. If this is you, then you must have seen the threads/posts/announcements by 'Daft' and myself urging you to sign up and register as an Audizine "Club Member". As we have for the past several years now, we've secured a special deal and location for all AZ'ers to enter and park together as a group. If you've already signed up then thanks. If you've both signed up and already purchased your tickets then thanks x2! If you have yet to do either, then you're a lagger and you know it! Check out all of the details in the AZ Waterfest Forum and get on the ball. We had a record turnout last year and we're looking to top it in 2009!
Huge thanks to 'Daft' for once again volunteering his time and energy to hook it up for AZ'ers at Waterfest!
That'll do it for now. We'll see you here again next month.
