Eagle body and paint did most of my car and it turned out great. I know the owner and he is a great guy. Also I think everyone's favorite in town is Alpine...

Sean1.8T does good work and he is cheap... Did my TB for $200 in about 2 hours. I also would like to know some place where people get body work done!

I would say for body work or paint, New Image on 5th West in Bountiful is good. I know the owner and he is also a really good guy. He has sprayed a few of our vehicles and the work was great.

built my turbo manifold for my corolla. granted we have about twice the amount of engine
bay than most audi's. but if anyones interested in serious mods
i would definately help out. much cheaper than any shop too.

Well guys I've been thinking about getting my TB done and since I'll be getting that done I want to get water pump changed, tensioners, serptine belt, a/c belt, possibly crank pulley, etc all done at the same time.
Anybody here possible of doing this for a fair price?

I ordered my kit off ECS and was extremely happy. Shipped quickly and it was exactly what I expected. But I would definitely recommend NOT getting the lightweight crank pulley. Save your money and your motor. This is not the thread to talk about it, you cam pm me if you want the specifics.

Hey,

Just checking to see if anyone has ever repaired a leaking rear brake caliper? Went to get my tires changed out on Wednesday, and they called and told me they noticed there might be a slow leak on the rear brake caliper...

My car is a lease, but i hate to take my car into the dealers with the mods I have on my car, I just don’t want any hassle. I have had a great exp with Streamline, but my schedule never seems to match up with what they have available, and I don’t have much time to just "stop by" and then do so again for an appointment.

I see all the shops listed above have used one as mentioned above…. but anyone have any other experience or advice of good shops that do good work at a good price? Any one not associated with a dealer have this happen to them and can give me a price estimate? I heard there are kits that are available to fix this issue….

I am itching to get my 19’s on after a non-eventful winter (in the valley), and noticed I have a small crack in one of my OZ Rims while cleaning them the other day. I looked around, and I see two places after a quick search on Google that do this in the Salt Lake Area (wheelweks was one). In addition to getting that one wheel repaired, I want to get all five wheels repainted, etc.

Anyone have this type of work done lately, or have any suggestions…anyone do this themselves? anyone have an idea on cost...

FYI--UNKNOWN COATINGS melted our metal center caps and everytime we try to contact him for the "new centercaps" that he bought he doesn't answer, he's great at powdercoating but when something goes wrong he's a sketch.

Is Alex's really that bad? I called Streamline to take a look at my car and they said since I didn't replace my oil pump when I put in my k04, they wont touch it. Alex's on the other hand offered to provide towing service to the shop and help me as soon as they can on Monday. Granted they will most likely charge quite a bit but I just want my car fixed..

^^ there is a euro junk yard in orem off geneva road.. ill try and snag the number next time i am down there.

On a related note i want to get a new exhaust, intake, dv valve, and clutch done all at the same time so is streamline the best place around here? or any other recommendations?

Streamline does solid work, but usually make you feel like a dumbass for not using products they recommend. I've had good luck at Alex's but others dont like em there.

I guess what I'm trying to say is Streamline does good work, so they'll take care of it for you.

i went to alex's to get my fuel filter replaced no hassle.. they were actually pretty nice also on they're website there is a 5% off coupon... i went to streamline to ask some questions and they do kinda make you feel dumb but i'm sure they do good work as well...
