Fluidamper won't fix anything pertaining to keeping the timing belt in time with the crank.
Fluidamper will help calm the harmonics due to the rotational inertia of the bottom end. Even on a balanced assembly.

Its shit rattling that causes that keyway to strip out. If you can get rid of that vibration you're in good shape

Its been a long road to get her done. A few roadblocks, timing belt sprocket mod, crank trigger wheel issues, but got her back together and buttoned up as of 3 weeks ago. Got 700 miles on her. Maestro software just ordered.
Anyone else 2.1 stroked on here?

I am building one. What kind of crank trigger issues did you have? was it more serious then having to drill the hole for the dowel on the crank to stick through? when I bought my crank from Issam I was suppose to get an already modified timing belt gear or the crank was already suppose to be modded, i forget which. i got neither. so a local machine shop is milling the key way into the crank and then I am going to use a dowel pin kit from IE to really keep it from stripping the new keyway out. very nice i got mine done back in june and love the way it drives. as far as your road blocks with parts on the trigger wheel i take it the parts came from issam. i also did a 2.1L great guy just way too spread out. could you post up a pic of the engine bay
