But what's weird is that my fx850 withch basically is a Quartermaster clutch from Clutchmasters got better and better after all these races.
It started as you describe undriveable, on off switch, but slowly got better nfrom a race to an other.
At the moment, if you put the pedal pressure out of the equation, it has a friction point like a stage 1 clutch and is smooth a butter ????
I know it dosent make sense...

Maybe you misunderstood me. I AGREE with you. Yes, it is a $5K package, but for my intentions, it will be a worthwhile investment. I'm just trying to get a grip on having to spend that much.

You dont have a sintered iron twin though. The fx850 is a twin kevlar 8.5 in clutch.. We dont have that option yet for the vr's.. Not to mention, id hate the stiff pedal, and have never really been a fan of kevlas discs.. But i would have definitely considered it had it been available for this application. I understand what you're saying by the way.

Could you list the items that you sell to help support the 24v swap into a 2002 A4 Quattro, 3L, 6spd?
Please include item description and price.
I believe it's trans adapter, clutch, flywheel and wiring - but I'd just like to be sure.
Also, what products are in the works that would help support the B6 swap? How close are they to being available?

Issam you should make motor mounts for the 12v also, I know each time you convince me to go 24v but for some reason i want to do the 12v. I want to keep the engine simple.. There has to be a way to bolt up the a/c compressor and make the engine mount for the drivers side.. I emailed chris green and he said a/c should be able to work.....

What is the reason you want to go 12v instead of 24valve?

With the 24v block you can use the R32 head, which will outflow the 12v like a mofo.

Proven to make insane power, simple 12 valves and i can find 12v's everywhere. I can't find 1 local 24v for less then 2500 but 12v's can be found for stupid cheap

Bought my 24 valve for 1500 w/ harness with less than 70k miles. Just be patient, and you'll find one.

Yes Chris greens 12v made over 800 awhp....But do you even know how much work/money was thrown at that motor to make such power?
Nothing is wrong with the 12 valve, but unless you own your own shop or just hit the lotto, I dont see you making 800 awhp.. Green built a shop car, ask him how many Hours of labor, parts, and custom work went into his VrS4, and I bet you'll shit yourself when you hear his answer.
Save yourself the headache, buy a 24valve, and call it a day. Flows better, and like it was said couple posts before me, you can attach the R32 head as well.

A little piece of advice for motor shopping, dont only look local, look out of state or a few hours away as well.
I currently live in Queens and drove 6 hours to Rochester to get my Vr6.
Locally every VR6 for sale was either abused, or really expensive.
