i have a gajillion pics of cars with ssr gt3's

but im too lazy to find photo hosting and uploading it...

i really hate that about audizine

why can't we just look for the file and load it instead of having to do that obnoxious ass photo hosting, then uploading, then writing a hyperlink bullshit.

such a pain in the ass

    but anyways..

i've yet to come across an audi with these wheels installed

they look good on bimmers and porsches, thats for sure

Nice wheels, and relatively lightweight. You might consider upgrading your brakes as well since the open spoke design will allow you see view the hubs "in the nude."

how is the weight on those? all of the other "lightweight" forged wheels (ahem...mono 10's) are still as heavy as mack truck.

I love the way they look, but i heard SSR = super soft rims. But any how they look great on our cars! I've never had them so I don't know for sure how strong they are but thats what i've heard.

The GT3 is forged, and is very strong... I too have heard problems with the non-forged GT1 and Comps.... Here are some pics of my car...

GT3s are hot, but if you're not rockin' comps, SSR does stand for Super Soft Rims. Look on other forums (I'm thinking of e46fanatics specifically). Pretty much everyone who's had them and put them on their car has bent them in a short period of time. They're awesome looking wheels, but are just too soft a compound for everyday driving.

The ssr's are semi forged, including the GT1's. I've heard a lot of people have problems with the Competitions but not the GT1's or GT3's. I had the 18" GT1's on my A4, they weigh 19 lbs I think. I did slightly bend one of the wheels, but it was a very large pothole. I hit countless others on the streets in Houston and never had any problems. I wouldnt consider the GT series weak at all.
