True story. However it's going back to stock and being a winter fun-toy. A4 is still in the works. This is just a chance for me to own an r32 daily, and get rid of the rabbit(which i love, but the R32 is way cooler for buffalo winters).

I built a new head over the last month ** WILD C&C port job, +1mm ferrrea intake and exhaust valves, and REAL Schrick 268 cams. Put it all together and the engine back into the car this past weekend and fired it up. Its non-turbo right now, but goddamn does it sound wicked compared to the last head. I think its the cams, and I already love them.

No, because I don't feel it safe to run the stock sodium filled valves with unkonwn miles so I bought ferrea's, and +1mm's are the same price, so why not? Its only a little bit more machine work in bowl porting in the end.

Got this all rebuilt and un-turbo.





Havn't touched the car at all since I took that a4 video. Been screwing around with chipping/tuning ME7 ECU's. Soon though, cuz April 22nd is the Pittsburgh Classic and it's gotta be there for that.

Guess it's time to update.

Car literally sat for a few months and I did nothing with it. Never powered it up, never started it, never even unlocked the door. And it was good.

Anyways, summer's coming so I just recently I picked up a few things to get this back in order.....

Injector Dynanamics 1600cc injectors:



A little birdie told me that I had to upgrade my Autronic software because there was a little easter egg inside that I might enjoy. Turns out Autronic incorporated injector scaling for the entire line of Injector Dynamics injectors which is freakin sweet. It means I have to do much much less work!




Next I got rid of the Comp 6765 because it was dogshit and moved on to a Precsion DBB CEA 6766 .81a/r. Upgrayyyyyyyyyyyydddddddddd.




Changed exhaust manifolds to a Kinetic mani for durability sake. Simple, easy, works. I'm totally gonna be screwed on the building an intake front. This mani moved the turbo forward about 5". As if it wasn't tight already.







Then this crap arrived in the mail.



and as such... we're ready to get rockin this weekend on fabbing up some downpipe/intercooler/intake junk for the new turbo and exhaust manifold.

Here's to hoping to making it to the local GTG this sunday......... woop!


Also was with my friend Franz who map's my car today for dinner(cuz he ran out of gas on the 219/90 split on he way back from toronto lololololoolo) and he said he'd make a special trip back up here in a few weeks from Virginia to get this thing mapped out correctly, and maybe we can finally go fast. Amped to hear he'll make the trip for me.

Pulled a 2.95 FATS time yesterday on 19psi, which is almost a full second faster than I was able to do last year on 30+ psi. This setup is a MUCH earlier spooling setup, and not to mention it clearly makes more power. In comparing to s4's that run about the same time looks like we're at ~500-510 as it sits at 19lbs. I'm amped about that.
