I have had it sitting in a box. I just took it out and looked at it and I don't see any rust anywhere. I am going to take some pics for you but have to wait a few minutes for camera battery to charge. There is a little dust on it but no rust. I rubbed my finger on one of the journals and it feels oily still. Shipping I will have to look into, no clue what that will cost and how quick you want it. What is your zip?

I can help you with your 1.8t work (timing belts, etc)

Well the re weigh was 31.6 for the pic. Here they are. A few of the pics might look like there is something on there, that is the dust left from when I rubbed my finger across the journals. I just rubbed more oil on all of them as well after these pics.
USPS regular shipping is $22.65, Priority is $36.70, don't think it would make a difference though since they say 2 days in transit.
UPS regular shipping is $22.10 (says 2 days)
So if you want it say like $85 shipped.

I tell you what I have to give it to this kid. he never gives up I have known Brian for a couple years now and he just keeps at it. I am sure there are a lot of people that would of just gave up by now. He doesn't he just keeps going at it. I admire this keep it up Brian.
I wonder what he does when he gets off the net does he go to his room and cry? Just joking little guy.
it even goes past dedicated. he's so confident with the work and knows exactly how to troubleshoot, what parts to get and how to install them; i'm envious. Not that it's easy work, but the fact that you can brake something and get it back together in a week is great. this car will be awesome
Old: 97 30r'd A4 ---> headaches
New: Evo IX MR ---> 354awhp/349tq and couldn't be happier

Never would have learned how to do anything if I had never tried it myself. I've never had a car in a shop. I've simply gotten here by digging in and screwing up a WHOLE BUNCH over the past few years.
i'm in the same boat. luckily i've never had crank issues, but if i did, i can guarentee you i'd be doing it myself haha. only way to learn is to do it and make mistakes. that's why it pisses me off when kids say they want to go to tech school to learn how to work on cars, when really, you just need to get your hands dirty.

haha then we'd have to make a trip over to CR. Brian, its deadly for an Audi/VW to stumble into your driveway, it gets gutted before it cools down hah
yeah haha. Its really sad that we do this to ourselves.
Gotta rebuild a 01e trans, 2.7 motor, and my motor this week..... Heading to waterfest saturday morning to be sure we have time to get everything done.
