Coming back to Audi, what's the dealer/person to work with?
After getting rid of my a6 I've been through a scion tc and subaru sti. and yamaha r6 is up for sale.
I'm going to get an a3 and want to know who to deal with.
Last time I bought from Commonwealth and they were alright, not great, not bad just alright.
recommendations?

Except for Penske being LA county.
Any deals would be negated by the tax rate.

California automobile sales tax is paid based on the county that the car is registered in, and not the county that you purchase.

yep that's true.. and its not really a big deal... one percent more on a 30,000 car is 300 bucks.. not too bad.. penske is great, but they have one or two rude salespeople.. as long as you don't look as young as I do you should be fine :D

Re: Coming back to Audi, what's the dealer/person to work with?
The guy I drove the a3 with at Penske was alright, not very talkative, but not rude by any means.
Any suggestions of who to deal with there?
It also looks as though I will have to order my car, and I'm in no rush, so I might wait to see what finance offers come out in the next couple of months.
btw I'm 28, have tattoo's but look kinda young, was still treated with kindness and respect.
Penske's service bay is stellar.

For dealers, I'd go somewhere in OC or Penske if you want new. For used, just find a good private party or the same places I mentioned for new..

i actually helped my friend get an S4 cab and we called and talked to every dealer in socal Penske was the worst deal wise, best by a long run was Pacific Audi, over the phone w/o even trying he beat all our prices Penske wanted 985 plus tax a month pacific gave it to us for 716 tax included on a car with more options.

The main reason I mentioned Penske is because a lot of them are car enthusiasts and you can get Stasis gear from the factory w/ warranty. I don't know from experience of being there because I wouldn't buy a new car. Only time I've bought cars from dealers was in OC and I got great deals there...

Yes Sir , Circle Audi all the way!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Reiner Stiller is the Sales MGR. And He has a no nonsense approach when it comes to selling car's. He does'nt need to check with anyone when he gives you a price. He has Pull, and has been there for over 20 year's............

LA Auto Gallery on Ventura Blvd.
They have an awesome service dept. They have taken care of my car even after the warranty ended. Also, their sales dept. doesn't waste your time. It was the best Audi Dealer i visited in the valley.
And for its worth... the last time I was there, they had a brand new A3 on their lot that they Oettinger'ed out themselves.

Circle is where I've picked my A3's, went through Rainer both times.
He's pretty reasonable, had to negotiate a little more this time around but still got the car for the price I wanted.
Anyone know if Circle is mod friendly?
Since I'm living in LA now I think I might just start going to Penske...

You could always try Walters Audi in Riverside. Folks down there are really down to earth and helped me so much since i bought my Audi.

Why would you "rock" any dealers plates? Just saying...why not nothing, plain or anything else would be better than a dealer...
