Hello and welcome to another installment of our monthly Audizine Newsletter, this one for April 2009. We're here to bring you a comprehensive wrap-up of the latest news and info from all around The Zine. In this month's newsletter you will find details on yet another all-new feature to the website, something we've been working on for awhile now and are extremely excited to finally bring to you, The Audizine Wiki! Also of mention in this issue is our Official Audizine Twitter Feed, which on top of these monthly newsletters is a great way to stay up-to-date and in-the-know with all the happenings here at AZ.

And on top of these exciting new mentions, you can also find the normal run down of the latest Industry and Motorsport News since the last newsletter, as well as details on this month's Featured AZ'er. We end the newsletter with our thank you to the companies recently joining or returning to the prestigious list of Official Audizine Advertisers.

I also wanted to say a quick thank you to everyone that voted in this month's Audizine Poll, but we have decided to put the new t-shirts on hold for a month or so and instead work on bringing back the hugely requested Audizine Baseball Hats. With the weather heating up around here, I can definitely relate to the need for shade. More on the new hats will be announced in the coming weeks.

The last thing I wanted to mention up top is in regards to the official Audizine Wheel Gallery which we talked about last month. It's coming along nicely but we can always use more wheel photos and info. So if you haven't added yours yet, or maybe have some old pics to scrounge through on that hard drive or dusty little flash drive, then go do it now before you forget!

So I have this great idea for a movie. It's going to be this season's next big blockbuster! OK so think James Bond, meets Top Gun, meets The Transporter, with a bit of Canonball Run thrown in for good measure. You take the hottest sportscar on the market with Audi's R8 and add a bit of the stealthy tech gadgetry necessary to make a cross country fun run. What comes out is not only one bad-ass road-going monster but a major Hollywood hit! Am I right? Well if it's half as mind blowing as the car seen in this month's Featured AZ'er article then I'm going to say "hell yes"! The best part is that this smash hit of a car doesn't belong to Tom Cruise or even Jason Statham, but our very own AZ Member Andre Betz (also known as 'GR8 Ghost' on the forums). Now how fitting is is that even his R8 has an AKA? I hereby present to you, 'The Blackbird'. More

• The Audizine Wiki

This exciting all-new addition to the Audizine website has been in the works for quite some time now, and we're excited to finally be able to bring it to all of you!

The Audizine Wiki is directly integrated into the rest of the site, so if you're a good standing member of the community then you will now be able to contribute to the greater knowledge-base of Audizine in an entirely new way. If you're logged into the Audizine website then you should also be automatically logged into the AZ Wiki. If you're not though, then your normal Audizine username and password should work within this new section as well. All edits or additions made by each member will be noted within the AZ Wiki, so please be aware that any abuse of this new feature will be taken very seriously. The Audizine Rules & Guidelines also apply within the AZ Wiki.

We understand that a good many of you may not be familiar with how to edit and add to a Wiki, so if that's you then please read through our Wiki Help section or visit the Help/FAQ of any other Wiki such as this one off which our Wiki is based: http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Help:Contents

If you have any questions or comments about the Audizine Wiki, or would like to report any bugs or problems with the new feature, then please visit the Wiki Bug Report & Feedback Thread located in the Feedback Forum.

We hope you are just as excited about this new addition to Audizine as we are. We feel it's yet another great addition to the website and will be a fantastic resource for the Audizine Community going forward. With all of the knowledge out there about these cars we all love and obsess about, we're really looking forward to seeing the Audizine Wiki continuously grow and expand.

If you don't know what Twitter is, then frankly we're surprised you figured out how to turn on your computer. If you want to get in the know then check out their site and sign up. For those of you that do know, and already have a Twitter account, be sure to add us to your "follow" list.

We're using our Twitter account as an ongoing up-to-the-minute Audizine blog. You'll be among the first to learn about new happenings in, on, and around The Zine. More than likely things you wouldn't normally be aware of, and maybe didn't even care to know. Such is the power of technology!

• Wrap-Up/Outro

As mentioned right here in last month's newsletter "outro", the Audizine Beta Testers and the Moderator Team have been working very hard on a handful of new features and fixes, the largest project of course being The Audizine Wiki. I just wanted to give a big THANK YOU to all of them for their help, hard work, and dedication to the new Wiki and to Audizine in general. I've still got a lot in store for this website and community, and with the support of everyone here at Audizine we will only continue to improve!
