Rain sensing windows, post the code for that please, I have not seen that before.
There are a few missing, but some you may need the nav, full MMI for http://audienthusiasts.com/VagCom.html
I see no VIM, ambient lighting, and a few others.

you don't need nav for VIM to work ? and I'll have to get back to you on the code for that one , the shop did them all for me plus that
one is untested since I dint really wanna risk wetting the car and it just doesnt rain here that much lol
VIM is not untested, it works on my car and I have done it to a few, but there seem to be a few issues with late MY 11 and MY12 cars this not working. You are an early MY 11, so it should work. There are a few others such as the ambient light, but that needs the hidden menu to work, so not sure if you have the right MMI for that.

Seeing as how you claim to be Member #1 of the B8 Ti Pack Club, I am guessing you have a pretty early 2011, so it should work. My car was build in December 2010 and I did it on an S4 that was built in February 2011, both worked.

yup my car was built in June or July 2010...so even with out nav it'll work , had no idea
Well not sure of how you plan on activating VIM without NAV since that's the module you enable it on.
I've never seen or heard of Rain closing windows on the Audi A4, that was an early model A3 and VW trick.
Incidentally VIM still works for later models but there are still some people here and there it doesn't work for. Maybe Audi used a different supplier for a short run or something.

kinda had my doubts about the vim one and the rain sensing windows one I've never tested but the person who threw all my codes in there said thats what it was
and everything else they said has been right so far but I'm no too concerned with it working or not since it never rain anyways
Open your windows then wait a couple of minutes then take a cup of water and pour it over the sensor. It should trigger if it works. If it does then you have a new discovery there.

I think the rain sensing windows only works with the VW crowd.. We looked into this a while ago.

Just did VIM on my 2012 S4 build date 8/11 and so far it works fine.

There are some hands free options. What I want to do is DISABLE the voice command feature of MMI and have it connect to my bluetooth iPhone 4S instead (I want to talk to Siri, not the car) via bluetooth by activating the voice channel when the phone isn't connected on a call.
My friend has an aftermarket BT hand free thing with a talk button which when pushed wakes Siri on his iPhone 4S so I know the phone and Siri support such a thing but I'm not sure how to adapt it to the handsfree of my S5 and to bypass the voice recognition feature built into the car.
I've searched high a low for any signs of hope of talking to Siri instead of the car when my phone is either in my pocket or in the glovebox. I'm not interested in opinions about the iPhone or phones in general, just whether anyone has adapted the voice command button on the steering wheel to activate the voice recognition features of the BT phone rather than the voice command feature of the car..
Specifically:
0 = Hands-free active while Bluetooth connection is active but without cell phone engaged
1 = Hands-free only active with cell phone engaged
I don't have a cable or software myself. Has anyone looked at this code and how it works and does it override the voice command button and connect to the phone instead?
For me this is the only missing link with this car for me. Thanks.

It's unfortunate, but you can't do what you are describing...

This is somewhat random but I'm hoping someone can help. I have a current Ross-Tech USB CAN+HEX etc cable for my B8. A guy in the area needs some help scanning for errors on a 2004 A8 (trim level etc unknown). We're not looking to make any setting changes, just read any codes. Think the cable and software (11.11) will auto detect and give us a log file to review? Thanks for thoughts and help!
Thanks for the quick response. We didn't want to waste each other's time if it would be questionable. Great thread here. I've got a few pages left to read. I know at least some if not all of the VAGCOM mods I've done originated here thanks to a lot of effort by others. The least I can do is try to give back where I can.

Hi all :) Because I have assumed in your own A4 2009 Audi side assist (the entire installation with mirrors, Gateway and drivers in the bumper) is looking for any info about the coding steronikow. I miss the hint in my VCDS and I have no info what is in the Adaptations . I know that I should go to the ASO objective calibration of the system but I have to the nearest 300 km. Maybe someone will tell Gentlemen

New here, so my apologize if I ask something that was already discussed.
I have on my Audi A4 B8 MMI Basic plus with navigation (yes, is not the color one. Is the monochrome. The car is from 2008 with halogen).
I have tried to make some adaption but…no results!
Can someone help me with some codes?
I want to activate:
- Cornering
- DRL always on with main/high beam and position
- TMPS
- Emergency brake lights
- Hidden menu
- Battery meter
- Oil meter and temperature
- Needle test sweep
In the car menu I can find the pressure measurements, but I don’t know for what is it.
There are some other thing to activate in the MMI basic plus? From what I understood, is a little bit different from the color MMI (example, I cannot find to update my MMI firmware)

Does anyone know if it is possible to have the instrumentation/cockpit light stay on constantly without having to set the light control switch to either Auto or On position ? Thanks.
But there is everything that I can activate on MMI basic plus?
Now I am reading the entire topic.
I am thinking, if is someone here who has all the activation codes….(pdf, excel)

Basically you can activate the same features as in MMI high - and the codings for the menu items in MMI Basic, can be seen in my post, which also have links to a list from Q7 (direct links to: Adaptation and Coding), alternative you should be able to see your options direct in VCDS when you navigate to [07 - Control Head].
I don't think we have a complete list or document over all the codings - but the collection on audienthusiasts.com should cover almost all codings. You can always ask if you think there should be a coding for a feature - then we'll try to give you what you need (but no guarantee).

GREAT FIND! Just tried it and it works perfectly. I never knew that the removal of such an annoying sound could bring that much joy
Does anyone know how to automatically activate the front sensors on the Advanced APS (front/rear/camera/graphical) system below a certain speed? It seems very odd that you have to manually turn it on using the dash switch. On my XC70 the front sensors are automatically activated below a certain speed so you are warned of an object, and the dash switch is used to deactivated it. This seems opposite to the Audi programming. Do I have it coded wrong?
Recently changed the Concert head unit on my 2010 A5 Coupe to the same one from 2011 A5 SB (due to preamp noise problems). Please advise if anyone knows the VCDS coding to change the APS Plus car picture (top view when parking assist activated) from SB to Coupe.

I'd like to know this too.
my mom's Mercedes also automatically activates at low speed.
i think Audi is programmed the opposite but i am wondering if i can do reprogram it to the "correct way"
