How long to change motor mounts?

So, how does it take? Searched around, couldnt really find an answer. From reading a how to, I would estimate about 3-5 hours.

So how long did it take you or your shop to do?

Im not doing it. I would but my car is under warranty. Its gettin covered by a warranty and done at a shop. They we're suppose to do it today, but didnt get it done and were trying to say it hard and time consuming. I was telling them its not, that I read the how to and it should be a couple hours tops. Anyways, they got it done before closing, but there is one other lil thing getting done in the morn that will take a half hour.

I just did my passenger side mount and don't see how you get at it from the top. The drivers side seems the same way. If you know how to get at the nut from the top please fill me in.

you cant get at it from the top our inlet pipes are in the way the 034 diy is for the 1.8 its not as easy as the diy makes it look cuz its not for our cars if you pull the inlet pipes you might be able to get at the top bolt from the top but i dont see any other way around it

the best way i can see doing it is with a ratcheting wrench from the bottom. All the DIY out there are for the A4. Even with the inlet pipes gone the turbo pipes are still in the way.
