somewhere in pitt
thought i'd post this, just because. If i had unlimited funds this would find its way into my garage...and really mess up unsuspecting bmw drivers... The way the tach spins on this thing is retarded.

The white one in Pittsburgh is not for sale. Believe me, if it was, I would be the one who owns it. I pleaded with the owner but he is determined to drive it to the ground

That's the whole shebang, not including the body pieces, of course. Considering the price of the car and the conversion price, I really should have just imported a real RS4, but something tells me this would probably be less of a headache.
Re: Look what I caught inside GMG today...(RS2 content)
Most of the RS4 parts got sent out to have carbon fiber molds made for each piece, so I'm waiting for them to be sent back from the carbon lay-over company. They should be back at the shop sometime this week and we'll be back on the track to success!
Re: Look what I caught inside GMG today...(RS2 content)
Nice, does that mean someone is going to start producing RS4 bits in CF? I know that SDR has the front fenders and bumper in CF already, but it would be nice to get the other pieces done as well. Maybe it would bring the cost down a little.

Actually, the initial reason they got molded was because Fabryce @ GMG bought the Stasis B5 race car and wanted a back up in case the car got wrecked. After the parts got molded and we saw the weight differences, I decided to switch out a couple pieces for the carbon ones, but kept some in metal.
But to answer your question, the rear bumper, rear fenders, rockers, doors and front fenders will all be available in carbon from GMG at some point. I'm sure the cost will come down somewhat too, since the real bulk of the cost was the conversion rate and shipping to the US.

Hey guys.
Thanks for the kind words
Rs2- Yes this is a real Rs2 and has some big HP goodies.. I will post full details of the car and specs soon once we are done with the mini restoration. It only has 14k kilometers on the OD. - A virgin!
Tony's wide body...
A no expense spared conversion; simply the best of everything. But, he wouldnt have it any other way...
It is being done on a Celette jig system to ensure a perfect fit, and we use the inverted welders so the welds will be exact as the factory welds.
There will be no way of telling that the body of this car has been altered when compared to a real Rs4.
We have done several of these cars over the years and its a ton of work, but still, less expensive than importing a real Rs4.
Carbon Body panels- Yes we will have carbon composite body panels for these cars.
I purchased the Stasis car which was originally a rolling Chassis purchased from Champion racing and was intended to be a S4 Comp for Speed GT competition.
So, I am restoring this car to its intended glory with some modern parts - Its going on a serious diet... pictures of the build will be up soon.
Its a complete ground up bare chassis restoration and rebuild........
As far as the pricing the replacement body parts, no set pricing has been determined at this time. I will see what I can do to make it worthwhile and affordable.
Parts which will be available :
Rear Quarter Panels-
Rear doors
Front doors
Front fenders
Side rockers
(I would recommend getting original front and rear bumpers for best fitment to a car that is being converted and updated.)

Partially why I would just import an RS4 outright.
But, the work GMG is doing on your car is stellar. Keep it up
