Look what I caught inside GMG today...(RS2 content)

I was up at the shop for awhile today, and almost passed out when I saw this and realized that it was a legit RS2... with 600hp no less.

The owner has it at GMG for a full restoration (its a little deteriorated if you're up close), but it still looks damn good after what, well over 14 years on the road. As far as I know its the only one in the US of only about 2000 distributed worldwide.

Eh, just doing the full widebody conversion on my B5 S4 avant. Making it wide, fast, etc. etc.

haha, I wanted to do the B7 RS4 too, but I'm in love with the B5 for some reason. Its just something that will never get old for me.

The car is staying some shade of yellow - probably this "Lambo" yellow, since it has a little more depth to it than the Imola.

That's not the only street legal RS2 in the US, a guy who lives less than 15 miles from me has a blue alcantera on pearl RS2 that he snuck into the country on a tuning license back in the early 90's.

It too is pretty beat up, as he can't sell it, so he drives it... and 15 years of use in the northeast puts a hurting on any car. Still, it is awesome and when I see it on the road I always to a double take.

That's awesome... Yeah, from what I heard this was the only one, but there are always those random enthusiasts out there! You should snap some pictures the next time you see it!

EDIT a quick search of the pittsburgh thread got this pic taken in the lot of the dealer that is down the street from my house... see what I mean about it being beat? The thread also mentioned another silver one in Michigan but I didnt see a pic of that car anywhere.

I've always thought that matching the interior with the exterior looked tacky, especially in nogaro blue. nogaro accents aside, the interior is classically bad-ass.

They do. I was deciding on the B5 or B7 route before I finally decided the B5, and GMG has everything to do either conversion (with the exception of the VF supercharger). Do it man... that shit will look amazing.
